It's not a "comb target". The target is based on the obvious bearish divergence. The upper comb on your picture is just a border of the bearish diamond. Similar one was on the EUR/JPY and has already been exited.

an apology.

I asked about MACD blindly without reading the prior 10-50 post first, where you had already supplied an answer to what I then asked again.

I basically did something I always get annoyed over when others do it(not even spend 5 minutes looking around) and I feel bad for it in turn. The only excuse I can bring forward is that the markets were still open and I was too distracted to do better. Irony is I actually read past the prior posts just the days before.

I also wanted to applaud you once more, because I still, as before, feel, that you're one of the few people who actually think in big enough target terms to actually be interesting to listen to.
It's easy to look at 1.1 USDCAD when you're 300 pips from it, but it's different when it's still > 500-800 pips away. Let alone a few thousand when it comes to EJ/GJ/GU/EU.

I am very seriously pondering how big a "phase shift" we are currently witnessing myself and it's just nice to see someone with perspective and experience go about things.

Sorry again for asking something that was already answered.

No need for an apology. The market sometimes offers pretty good chances to make really huge bucks within a short period of time but it doesn't happen that often. This is one of those chances, I guess. And therefore a bigger picture gets way more important than some potential intraday and even intraweek trading opportunities.

BTW there is a good potential to see EUR/USD at around 1.37 level in 1-3 months from now. If so, it definitely makes sense to check out some bigger picture for just in case.

I'm wondering if this diamond-formation (attached) correct? .. does it matter when the 2nd and 3rd touches on the TL are too close?

It is better seen on weekly and the borders there look much more accurate.

Depends on a particular situation. Normally they have to be some bigger distance apart than is seen on your picture. But in this case you draw the line incorrectly. On weekly chart it's more obvious.

For this border the point of the crossover with the chart is the third touch.

Ok.. I see it more clearer now.. for a diamond-formation to be valid, when on the third touch.. the PA must be positioned (happened to be) on the upper-right diagonal TL, as we plan to short it top from there as soon as it touches that TL?...

Below current intraday bottom Cable officially enters into a downtrend. USDX has entered into this stage last friday.

It's a bit complicated to explain. The idea is that I cut past history charts by some straight lines to define potential borders for future moves. The difference between those lines and regular trendlines is that my lines cross the charts at multiple points cutting them like a tort. Then I trade between those lines also applying some of my templates for additional precision. The break of one line supposedly leads the market to the next one.
