Took partial profit 1.5565, Oil seems to stabilize at 120$, DJI on Monthly Pivot, forecast EUR / USD floating around Daily Pivot of 1.556.
Still some shorts open for possible lower close by end of US Session

Time for a break..relax..dip in the pool..

Just my 2 Cents...

The way it looks now, I'm dropping the bull view, at this time euro looks smoked. But of course let's wait for 55 to confirm.

Do you traders mind sharing what time frame (periodicity) you generally trade on?

How long are you generally in a trade: tics, sec's, min, hours, days etc what frequency do you trade?

What type of data do you use to trade you prime frequency? ex. If I trade on the milliseconds time frame I use tick data...

do you use mostly: chart type decision support tools, or more event driven strategies, arbitrage strategies, etc?

Thanks

.93 is a previous base, lot of support at .93, and its' gone down 550 pips since the high, i dont expect it to lose 10% of it's value over night, also they probably aren't cutting rates, last time they said their policy is working fine, and only bad data for last 2 months, not for past 5 years, and I have sl, all my reasons, before rate decision i may not keep trade, just depends

I'm a day trader.

My average trade lasts less than 5 minutes.

2-3 trades/session.

15 Minute utilizing pivots,psych levels and S/R.

Trade off the 5.

Cognizant of the news but the price action will tell you how a pair is doing.

Hit rate: 70%
Largest drawdown: 12%

Last losing month: July of 07 (-5%)

Best month this year: 30%
Worst month this year: 6%

Every now then I'll keep a trade open. I have an open short on the EUR/USD with no stop. I'll take profit at .5550.

I trade less than 1% on each trade.

Recored all my trades at the end of last year on my site. Then I got lazy. Keeping up with a site is a lot of work.

ALTRADER,

Sorry mate I just realized I told you I got 8 and 21 EMA, and I actually got 8 and 21 WMA. You pm is turned off I guess so hope you see this.

Acumen,

Very good results man. If your largest drawdown ever was 12% don't you want to consider raising the stakes a bit ? With 1.5% or 2% max risk per trade you profits could grow a LOT. Just a thought..

¿what makes you think that a rate cut is not only a rumour?
no believe until we see..

seesaw, i don't have more than one year trading (for real, not paper trading) but with my little experience i've noticed that rate changes doesn't fit with theory a 100% ...
this year i've been hit very hard and every single time with those rises in rates in aussie because i traded the news and not "my charts".

another thing i know is that gold (ninety-something% of correlation with aud) have a lot of room to fly and is holding strong at a weekly fib61.8 aprox. at 900.xx ... im still waiting for a nice bounce back to 1000

best trading wishes!
