just look as a side note at the EUR/GBP. I wonder why the Euro is powering so much on that pair. I also wonder why at teh same time the EUR has weakened so much against the USD?

GU just hit the low of it's 3h-4h channel according to my chart. I bought, let's see if it reverses nicely as expected together with EU.

MACD has often been criticized for failing to respond in mild/volatile market conditions. Since the crash of the market in 2000, most strategies no longer recommend using MACD as the primary method of analysis, but instead believe it should be used as a monitoring tool only. It is prone to whipsaw, and if a trader is not careful it is possible that they might suffer substantial loss, especially if they are leveraged.

what about relative strength index(Sma)

Large surges and drops in will affect RSI, but it could just be a false buy or sell. The RSI is best used as a complement with other indicators.
The RSI should confirm price movement; therefore, if the price is moving up, the RSI should be moving up as well.

You prefer Cutler's RSI (sma) over Wilder RSI (ema)?

I've more or less quit using all indicators recently except mas, ta, pa, and taking notice of upcoming fundumentals. A combination of mas, like a thin rainbow (don't see the point of stuffing a whole big bunch of them together, it's easy anough to see with 7 already) is an excellent indicator I think and practical to trade.

i like keltner channels, but i dont really use much, i was just playing with different ones. looking for something to monitor more than entrees.

i like ta most, but i starting like keltner channels to give me idea of other support /resistances short-term.
