Is there a consensus where this will bottom-out before it reverses for one more ride up prior to the news? Is 1.5480 a fair number, or is it lower? Or is it going on DOWN?

Thanks,
Ignored
We may see a spike up before the 1.54 level. If USD news tomorrow is good we'll see 1.54, if bad then 1.56 it is. USD news was pretty bad today so we have an initial catalysist for the spike up.

Funny that I found this from the UK not the US...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7536486.stm

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger of California has moved to end a budget crisis by sacking 22,000 state workers and ordering pay cuts for 200,000.

The biggest state in the US faces a budget deficit of more than $15bn (£7.6bn), and legislators are struggling to agree a spending plan.
The cuts, which will save $100m a month, are designed to put pressure on politicians to end the budget crisis.

But a leading official in the state challenged the decision to cut pay.
California has one of the largest economies in the world and it has no way to pay contractors for many of the services it provides.

Some 30 American states face budget deficits caused by rising costs and falling revenues in a slumping economy but California's is by far the largest.

It can't go on forever. Just recently EUR has been posting bad numbers. EUR is a delayed market in contrast with US. EUR banks lose the same amount as US. EUR still has a ways to go in the housing decline. US is further in its completion in the decline. UK is in the same boat. JPY has avoided most of what is killing these economies.

the EURO could indeed replace the U.S. dollar as the world's primary reserve currency, EURO stability have already attract world international buseiness transactions.. as we all know not only in Europe.. even in South East Asia is about to addopt the same system soon.. so Im quite agree that this US bull is only temporary.. and in the future.. I have no idea if all that digital money goes back to US
Money often costs too much...

Anyone know why does EUR/USD price seems to be temporarily stuck at 1.5555. Is it a trend line or earlier low?
