I would never say one tool is better than another, it really depends on who is using the tool, and the purpose. I personally like to remove judgment from the situation and I achieve that by quantification and experimentation. I see your point, what would be the motive? Or rather why bother? I can analyze thousands of instrument and asset classes without opening a chart. However, I am at the euro because we are once again at the turning point...

Quite boring till now. Guess estimates will be reached. In my eyes, it should weak the dollar step by step, as it is priced in already.

What a combo punch in dollar face. Not only GDP, but unemployment claims. What Paulson has to say is what is of importance for short term euro position exit.
