I've considered opening an account with Oanda. However, after some research, I've come accross some rumors that Oanda has one of the worse reputation for broker manipulation. Rumor is that if you are an "under performing" trader, they'll pretty much leave you alone and your trades are executed in a timely fashion. However, once you become "successful", the manipulation starts: bad fills, no fills, requotes, etc...
Hoping to clear up this rumor (since everything else I read about Oanda has been good), I was hoping to have a poll here: Are there any "successful" traders in here? Let's define "successful" as someone who is trading fulltime and/or is making enough money for a decent living. (Even if you're winning trades right and left, they won't care if you're trading in micro lots, so I won't count "consistently winning" as a factor in being "successful" in this case. You would have to be trading size too...)
Also, If you've been successfully trading with Oanda for more than 2 years, I'd love to hear about your experience.
Thanks!
Dahlia
