Good evening from Korea.

Just went long EUR/USD on the Existing Home Sales numbers for June.
Made a quick 22-pip profit on a modest wager (I'm still a rank amateur,
you know) to make up for some shortsightedness earlier in the day.

ENTRY - 1.5685
SL ------1.5670
TARGET--1.5755

Actual exit: 1.5707

Yup .... I was long with 2 lots from 1,5678 and closed one @1,5712 to compensate for a losing transactiond made in the morning.

Now I wait with the remaining lot ... life is complex ....

Though i'm usualy trading JPY due to involvement in business there and understanding of economic fundamentals I like to jump in into EUR/USD when there's some obvious info.

Last week was full of extremely bad news both for US and Europe, but the only thing that moved the dollar was a nice fed speach + dropping oil prices. Both bad US data and bad EU data didn't make too much movement. So we have the Oil here as the key.

Now scanning through the news I see that Russia is applying biggest ever export taxes on oil and being no. 3 exporter of oil it has to make impact.

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but I see an opportunity for a long bulish entry here.
