DislikedYou can never completely trust an oscillator. Just look at the graph below. It is EURUSD on hourly. My favorite oscillator (an Jurik K-Stoch) signaled 3 times today that the pair is oversold. Still it kept falling

DislikedGotta use oscillators in a better way. You can use it perfectly in a trending market. I do it all the time with my RSI studies, the fact of the matter is conventional education has taught most everyone that when something is in the oversold area it's time to look for a buy entry. WRONG, Oversold and overbought doesn't mean buy or sell. Think of the oscillator just being compressed down at that range because that is the limit set by the oscillator and being that it's at those extremes any move up is insignificant and any minor move down has a tremendous effect. This is a little something I learned from Baeyens and Cardwell on advanced RSI logic and theories.
