Good morning...I reanalyze my positions everyday...1.585 towards 1.59 is not long for me..its a nice 50 pip scalp..within the rangebound (1.58 - 1.59)

Oil made a small upwards move towards 131 and seems to retrace again (retrace down that is...)

I'm neutral...(read rangebound), might scalp a bit long within current range or stay at sideline, till a confirmation of a new clear trend has been set

That new clear trend imo still is downside for the EUR, looking at all key elements involved

I plain English..I rather scalp small positions long with set TP levels and a tight SL or stay at the sideline with some shorts open then to be caught out in a sudden break to the downside...risk management that's called..

EUR/USD Technical Outlook Worsens
0802 GMT [Dow Jones] After the EUR/USD failed to make a sustained break over $1.6000 last week, Standard Chartered suggests the outlook for the pair has deteriorated. "Technically, clients should cut EUR/USD longs and go small short," the bank says. It reckons that a retracement down to 1.5286 would confirm "a major double top." which could signal an extension to the downside as far as 1.4550.

Not a lot on the economic calendar for today..but can be misleading

We seen a lot of economic calendar price action been ignored last week but movements on mainly oil & stocks...

Earnings of another few major financial institutions will be released today. This can cause a large break upwards above 11500 on the DJI and with oil still close to another large break below 128 the EUR still is in a danger zone of a rapid free fall...

The above are the main reasons for me to be extremely cautious with regards to enter longs....

Tropical storm on way to Mexico ... could reverse the numbers....
