A possibility...Oil on it's knees at 128.5 for a possible outbreak downside, DJI up 11.500 for possible outbreak upside...if..then EUR should fall..

Very thin trading at the moment..low volumes..combination of Friday PM and seems to be hesitation about direction...imo

This could flip the other way also...

In a state of heightened alertness.... but we might be heading into the weekend as it stands now...

I am a newbee to my account is very small so I try and listen to ours watch the charts then put in a order but put a stop lost at only lost $10.00 and a profit of $10.00 so far it is working.

Yes I think so to. Oil closed below the 50 day ma wednesday or thursday not for sure. Which usually means bear signal for some. IMO I think we will see oil dip some more next. Also there are alot of political pressure on both sides of the fence. Should make for an interesting next week. Have a great weekend all and good trading to everyone next week....

I suggest you demo trade first until you know what you are doing and are comfortable trading before you trade with a live account. There are many good threads here to read and learn.

I myself started only about 6 months ago, but with a quite large account and made some costly mistakes along the way. But at this point, I have learned a lot and my account has doubled. I do see that there is a point in learning through the demo account. But my honest opinion is that you must use the live account because you just don't pay enough attention when it's only demo so it's easy to make money in demo account, but not so in live account. My suggestion is to enter small lots, not risking much of your capital, and set large stop loss. Pay a lot of attention to economic and political news. Charts don't tell everything for sure! News events will change the trend in the charts.

As for your eurusd short position, just hang on if you are not risking blowing your account. You will get a chance to get out in the next few days.

an exciting week lies behind us, the Euro Dollar reaching a new all time high, and pulling back around 200 pips, I still believe we are in an up trend and are soon to see new highs. Although these prices are seem by most people fundamentally too high, I still see a lot of potential. This is due to that the long term momentum is still pointing upwards, and all the people who are short now, will need to cover their shorts soon, once the prices start to move higher.

by wednesday my account was up 15% (a miracle). By thursday my account was down 10 percent from where it was on monday (a disaster). By friday close I had barely broke even for the week (depressing).

That week my dog was bitten by a poisonous snake and is still recovering, and I got into a dispute with relatives over a will. If you start to feel hope, or fear or greed (I can't lose mentality), best to stay away. When I have a clear head I do just fine. The great part about forex and trading in general is if you are doing it for yourself, you don't have to trade every day.

Only sharing this as a reminder to walk away from trading when emotions are strong.

As for this week, I have no idea what will happen with eur/usd. I'm just gonna try to follow price as best as I can.

Very true. Just make sure it's a small account that you can afford to lose.

See the chart. RSI and MACD both pointing towards down signal.
20SMA at 1.5800 level if it breaks then down move will be confirmed.
Daily showing range bound since it fell from 1.60.

Fundamental Issues:
Oil and Gold is coming down and if it continues next week then dollar will move from it's oversold position.
Euro economy is not strong enough to deal with strong euro.
If Oil comes down then the inflation will come down and no more rate hike for Euro. Maket realized that world can't except oil at 145 a barrel. That was the top and now it's time to move downward. Speculator's are not betting to move it higher anymore. Now, they will short to make profit from down move.
That's all my opinion. You guys can input yours.
