Yeah, a strong sell off after the US news and then record highs in the next 2 days is my opinion.
what we see depends mainly on what we look for...

this is the third time I said the same similar thing in this thread..
for those that are thinking, dreaming, praying that such a strong trend is going to reverse in a matter of minutes, you are wasting your hard earned cash shorting at 1.5980, 1.5990, 1.5600, etc.etc ...

If I'm right, Bernanke is testifying today. Will they talk about the last mortgages disaster? will they ask him what he plans to do to save the market from the eventual failure of Fannie and Freddie who holds about 5trilion$?
Will he say that the Fed will bail them out using tax payer money?
So, let's print more $ to keep bailing out companies that should close down? Inflation up, $ down. If they then raise the interest rate, it would just be a nice spike to buy again.
This is my 2 cent on the fundamentals, looking at the technicals, I wouldn't expect anything rather the 50% corrections from the main trend...
Then I could be wrong, of course.
Volatility could be very high this week and next few weeks.

Closed my long at 1.60 even for 450 green pips. Will re-enter if the daily closes above 1.6020. Would prefer a retest of resistance turned support too.

if i start to see mass dollar selling, and i see an actual trend on many pairs across the board, sure i'll ride EU to 1.7 or higher, but I'm when I do not see that at all, I'll consider this a range, and have target 1.53, I do not think just because this is the 'third wave' that means we getting real high
until the fifth one then we may see the downfall
for now I think it will fall a bit then continue rallying to 1.62
Money often costs too much...

If you use hedging, you will still need to catch a margin of profit, so if you are new to this, try to just get that profit, bank it and do it again!

#1 agreed. It's easier for me personally to accept the loss, clear my mind and look for why my analysis was wrong than to be worried about a bad position...or maybe two if you don't hedge correctly.
