No signal, right? Didn't break high of 121.34, nor low of 119.96

If free, can you share the rationale behind the system?
I don't think I can see any pattern. Or, is it simply on historical
statistics??

So no break yet.
We shall be patient and wait.

So we have a higher high which is 121.42, we can now set our pending short order.

Short Entry @ 121.12
Stop Loss @ 121.42
Limit @ 121.00

We will stick to this order unless there is another higher high.

There were several hours proposed for the proper time to start a day. Would it be permisible to use the default -- I E the period covered by the bar on the daily chart on the demo/live software. that way one could simply look for the high/low over the last 5 bars on the daily chart ?

You might want to try to do that. I think it should turn out roughly the same.
This strategy works great for those mobile users who does not have a charting software on their mobile trading platform.

Let's update today again. Yesterday we have an order and that turn out to be a our first winning trade of our forward testing.

Yesterday's trade :
Short Entry @ 121.12
Stop Loss @ 121.42
Limit @ 121.00 (Went passed this price)


Today' data :

01/02/2007 High 120.90 Low 120.09 (This day is not included anymore)

02/02/2007 High 121.34 Low 120.63
05/02/2007 High 121.14 Low 120.24
06/02/2007 High 120.57 Low 119.96
07/02/2007 High 120.78 Low 119.98
08/02/2007 High 121.42 Low 120.57

As for now we are looking for a higher high than 121.42 or lower low than 119.96

Hope this clarify better and let's wait for our next trade.

Backtested this from January 2005.

I actually traded this strategy since January 2006 but i stopped using it for a few months already because i'm getting great results in GBP/USD with my other secret weapon

By the way I have stopped using this strategy few months ago and I'm in another more profitable method with GBP/USD. But this is still a great strategy to use if you are busy and not afford to look at charts.

Hi there,
i was little playing with making EA for this interesting system.
hope i grasp all rules for this system so its really like it should be

so anybody who want also little experimenting with it, here it is.

My opinion:
Its good system but require money management and also i think Manual trading with this system should be more Accurate, you know all that FA.

win percent is about 60Percent so thats really good.

i will also try optimize it for best Performance settings.
and make some MM.

i hope this EA help somebody.
