no one cared about the NFP since it was in line with expectations. everyone was busy listening to Trichet. and thats why we saw this drop.

Throughout the week, everyone expected that there will be an interest rate increase from the ECB and the negative number from the NFP. Yet, the price is moving the opposite direction of the "assume" direction. I'm interested in hearing what everyone thought on what is causing the movement this morning? (I'm just a sideline observer this morning.)

Not negative enough I guess. It's a relief for now (DOW and $USD) but I fear that the blowout numbers (-100k) that many were expecting today will come in the coming months.
