I use a 91EMA and 91SMA on EUR/USD 15 minute chart. Historically, this has been fairly accurate at predicting up/down turns. It is very close to crossing over to the short-side, which is a strong sell signal for me. Still waiting for confirmation, though. Just thought I'd share...

Price has rallied through the fibo retracement at 1.5725 which now leaves the path open for a 1.5840 retest. Hourly studies are heading higher and ignore an overbought bias for now. Daily charts favor tick north and favor the long trade. (AS) 14:32 GMT

helo..im nubie of the nubie..
i see right now..oil is up almost 139$ ,gold is up, dow industrial is down 200 points, s&p drop below 1300 (i dounno what its means), bomb in iraq kill a lot of people.. i think almost every news , negative for US..except home sales..
but why there is, very small movement in eu..??

compare the other time , with only small movement in oil price , the eu move drastically..so basically , what/who the dominant trigger behind the price movement?? ..

someone, enlighted me please..(pardon me, for my bad english)

mm..well, i wonder for profesional TA trader, ussually how much % of his/her account they will use..for safety net in case market move opposite with them ..i mean for daily or swing trader ? or they just put s/l ?(im sorry i cant find a right word for my question)..

for myself, i only have mini account..ussualy i use 20% of my acc , with 1;100 leverage, so i think if price move opposite me more than 300pips..im dooms..
i mean, i read there is trader that keep position open week and month, so they must have very big acc i pressume....

so my question really is, with my condition right now..what kind of trade style that fit for me? can someone experience out there, give me a clue..

I am not a full time pro but am getting there still making some mistakes.

But this is my line of thinking - I have to make sure I can withstand 10 consecutive losses. And that never happens in reality but 10 consecutive losses should not wipe more than 20% of my account - which is why I only risk 2%.

To top it off for the most part my stops are about 20 pips (Unless it's some of the wild JPY crosses) and targets are 80+. So I use a good risk/reward scenario.
hi guys...does anyone think euro will go up to 1.5800 on friday??and look at eurjpy..its look like time for reversal but who knows..

thanks for your methods of money management .. it will be one of my reference in the future methods.. but im afraid in my case right now, i cant use that 2% method..maybe about 5%-7% ..trully must be discpline..
Hi folks,

This is what I see as of now for EU...

Price is channeling upwards towards a resistance @ 1.5820.

Unless soemthing very strange happens, price should head up there. That is a critical line, at least for me as to opening a new position. Another option could be to make a short term entry until price hits that RES. Tempting to some but not for me.

Price is obviously heading up on daily and channeling upwards nicely on weekly.
