Nice Scot. I still checking into a "buffer" zone above and/or below a tradable IB.

Much of what moneda was saying about getting in a little late. No harm in doing that.

For those who look at the 4hr charts, there was a perfect setup on Swissy to go short. IB with a low of 1.0451 formed on the downward sloping trendline. Price broke the low then retraced a bit but never reached the IB high, then down she fell. Good for around 50pips if you traded it!

Potential EU long setup if hourly candle closes soon as an IB?

previous 4hour candle had closed just above the 200ema, and touching on it for support it looks like.

Hope this turns out to be a long IB setup. this might be good.

Hey Trump, nice work on the 4 hour IBs. Is there any thing you use to "draw a line in the sand", so to speak, like the Weekly or Monthly Open? Or just take the break either way?

Regarding 4hr I sometimes place a straddle and most of the time only 1 side breaks out. Other things I look at are recent price action, whether the daily is trending or not (trending up leads to a long bias), whether price is ranging, often see IB's at PPZs (support/resistance), or when price has retraced to a main fibo level.

Here are 2 Swissy charts, first is the 4hr I mentioned above, and the second is the dibs sell stops I just placed. Hope this helps

This just seems so easy. Following PC's rule of usually exiting half the trade at 1:1 and trailing the other half is such a simple profitable way to trade.

...what trailing do you find best on the free runners?...i'm currently pulling fibs in the direction of successful IBs and watching price action around the inner levels (as per Bo's thread)...an open above/below the 61.8% level signalling a probable reversal against the trade.

At the moment I'm either setting a stop above recent bars high if short, or below recent bars' lows if long. Dabbling with Mike's (Mbqb11) 2 bar stop method which tends to lock in nice profits and give you a big chunk of the move if the trade was a good one.
