Gbenga, thanks for your msg. and good to help me spot out those pivot levels. Fascinating, I saw them and still went ahead bcoz i know what's and IB is and when not to take them. IB surfaces during two conditions. 1. consolidating period 2. retracement period. the later is a winner almost everytime. I took the UJ despite the 4hr pivot, but IB in this regards is a break out base on price action and its safe, crusing on a free ride with 20pips now after closing the first one with 11pips I didn't take GU becoz it has reached its fib tgt2 for our intra-day but it was a retracement and surprisingly has fetched 35pips. I use IB as entry to our intra-day fib and use our fib for exit from IB. Hope i made some sense

If you accept moves coming in 3 waves, it's the 3rd wave that's the riskier.

Jarroo, maybe im not concious today but i dont see DIBS today in the majors besides the one i posted about the pound which was too early and the ones an hour ago which was after a very stong move already.

I'm short both EUR and GBP using combination of DIBS and First Strike entries. So far over 150 pips today. Gotta love this Monday.

There were DIBs set ups on GBP, EUR and CHF today, 1 hr TF.

Yes I couldn't take off half of my second EU position so had to just close it all. Their site is down for me too.

The Euro had a text book DIBS trade this morning. Remember you can play IBs the are before the Open of the day, as long as they are OFF the Open. 0100 EST is (0500 GMT on my charts). The 0400 GMT is 0000 EST which is an IB.

thanks for the insight,if u look at GU drawing ur fibs from wednesday lastweek the price just opened at the 61.8 level(intraday shorts),i entered from d intermediate short from d daily,happin piping bro

On Usd/Cad, notice that all three of these candle are IBs and are played off the Open at 0100 EST (0500 GMT on my charts).

ok. like i said the first DIB was too early for me although it was a perfect one, it is not common the big move starts long time before the european banks open.
the second one from an hour ago refers to my question about daily average on EUR/USD.
there was a DIB no doubt but the trade was much riskier after such a big move.
dont you take the daily average under consideration when you enter such a trade?

Swissy. There was a 30 min IB that could have gotten you in earlier, but the 30 min chart can be riskier.

Taking the ADR of the pair under consideration is a wise decision, but that is up to the trader.

yes' i've seen this.
do you take all the DIBS ? because taking short EUR/USD and long USD/CHF is basicly trading the same move.
BTW ' the second DIBS on EUR/USD short 1.5513 was very close to the SL (23 pips of the DIB) but still a good trade and a free ride.
