Hi all,
Starting to trade DIBS with small lots on Oanda.....risking 0.5% of account per trade (max two trades at a time).
Opened a long trade on EU this morning 6.30 BST @ 1.5407, stop 1.53895. PT1 set to +17 pips, PT2 open to run. At 6.55, stopped out by 0.01 pip - 1.53894.

OUCH! It happens!

Moving on to see what opportunities present themselves later....

...took the short EU around the same time and was stopped out on the fake. Currently long swissy now with b/e stops....wasn't quick enough to get back into the EU short.

long chf short eurusd so far, because correlation u could have entered also long in usdjpy on the retracement hammer @ 5 gmt

there's a few setups which just occurred - I think the USD/JPY looks the strongest - the IB is a bullish pin bar and the trend remains up. Price has rallied above the day's open. I'd look to go long on a break.

I agree with you there Trump on the Usd/Jpy. However, there is strong resistence at the 108.30-40ish Level. (Check the Daily Chart. Sorry I can't post a chart right now.) If it does break the IB and resisitence level, it could prove to be a very strong move upward.

had a loss on e/$,(2%), stopped and reversed, made 1% before being stopped out.E/Y and G/$ both locked in 1% each with other 1% riding free on both.

Yes, there will be some losses, but the will be relatively small compared to the gains that we will catch.

oh well, the USD/JPY proved me wrong - broke to the downside instead! WOnder if it will stop and reverse. I'm still in a 4hr IB long from Friday but it hasn't done much. Cable looking good for those who took it! A nice fast break.

...yes, i've only been trading full-time for 6 months and my health has suffered through 'stress'....most of the time i've been unaware of it, but occasionally it breaks through (panic attack/disorder)....the psychological side of trading for a living was something i'd grossly underestimated when developing the trading plan.

Thanks to this strat, I am beginning to gain control and can see that applying the edge consistently, is likely to help turn things around.

First time on this thread...just wanted to say that B Complex Vitamins can help with the stress, while you deal with the process of making a lot of pips! ....by the way the IB after the 2am (est/sorry dont know how to post charts on FF using Oanda) candle on the e/u...would that have been a long?
