DislikedWell there are two worlds here.
The first is Accucharts, using the Sunday 17:00 price to calculate the Sunday daily change (based upon the server issue I previously described).
Then there is the world using the Friday 17:00 price as the close value to calculate today's daily change. That world includes Bloomberg, Reuters, InteractiveBrokers, other institutional platforms, etc.
Do you think Accucharts is correct?
As far as pivot calcs, this has no bearing on dove's method. I'm purely just talking about the way Accucharts handles the change field. Showing the daily price change *right now* as the change since 7 hours ago (17:00 today) is incorrect.
dove - the Sunday candle, i.e. 15:00 - 17:00 today, does not reflect what happened during 16:30 - 16:59 on Friday. They are two distinctly different periods each with distinctly different price activity.Ignored
Disliked... You just have to be sure the high and low is right even if it flows into the Saturday calculation and using Sunday's close, at 16.59/17:00, you will get it right.Ignored
DislikedI really can't answer that one...... I don't use the Fibo that much anymore...... Maybe some on here uses it will help you.Ignored
DislikedTrader KGB is talking about this uncovered period between 16:30 and 17:00 on Friday.
The deviation from Dove's method will happen if new hig or new low occurs during that short time.
On the attached 5-min chart for the last Friday you can see the closing rice was 108.19.
Accucharts shows the first Sunday candle at 107.98 - completely different from what happened friday.Ignored

DislikedThere is a problem with NetDania...... It is not calculated with the 17:00 ET but at 20:00 for change of the daily candleIgnored
DislikedThe key to easy, accurate Sunday pivots is simply setting the basis date to Saturday at your normal close time.Ignored
DislikedHere is the one thing...... Everyone that knows me also knows I am accurate with these pivots and always have been...... They are calculated to the pip and I have never had problems with them and that is because they are calculated an a daily bases at 17:00 ET....... That is all I got to say on the matter.Ignored
DislikedDove, I know about that Netdania glitch - that's why I look at X-minute chart to see the closing at 17:00Ignored
DislikedSouthernmind, go to Insert - Fibonacci retracements. Than you have to expand the tool between the points you choose, Double clicking opens extended editing menu for it.Ignored
Disliked...my latest version of FxAccucharts looks different from your screenshot. I have properties menu accessible through Format-> Chart , but there are no options you mentioned...Ignored
