You are right. The main essence of this business is WHEN AND AT WHAT PRICE THE BUY OR SELL SIGNAL WILL NEED TO TRIGER. The currency pair doesn't matter. And sure if we know any pair's trendline for sure then we would be equal to President level......especially nowadays when $ tries to enjoy the summer and for its plan it is trying everything to go north by hook or by crook..........

But you know guys I think this $ strength is temporary because if oil would go north to 150 then E/U could easily cross 1.60 and G/U could also go up to 2.06 area....

The trick is to trade what's happening not what you think will happen. Once what's happening changes direction, then you get out. Await the next direction and jump on board.

Anyone think the eur/usd is gonna open alot lower because of the G8 meeting today? A strong dollar is supposed to be emphasized during the meeting.

It may be a simple correction, or an indicator of trend change. I wouldn't consider this a definite trend change until the low from 5 weeks ago (5285) is penetrated and held.

On the other hand, reading the chart isn't always easy, and one person's interpretation can\will differ wildly from anothers'. If chart interpretations were easy, then we would all be rich. Most of us can read the same chart and find trends in about 3 different directions at once, depending on where we look.

I love support and resistance points - especially those shown by fib retracements and the weekly\monthly pivots. Time and again, these turn out to be accurate. Yet, I merely pull a fib over a decent-looking swing and allow my decisions to be swayed by the weekly\monthly pivots.

So, which comes first?

Do the fib levels become self-fulfilling prophesies as umpteen other traders come to the same conclusions and buy\sell according to them?

Or do umpteen traders come to the same conclusions at exactly the same point in time and create those s\r points that my fibs coincidentally highlight?
