Hi Oskana, I have some questions about your EA.

1.I see that the order is placed only on the next bar, after the inside bar. Is it the original approach (from Jarroo)? Is there the possibility to place the order for a certain number of bars? For instance, for all the day, in order to use the high of the inside bar as a resistance?

2.If a trade is opened, what’s happen during the same bar, for instance:
a)the price retrace under the entry level
b)then the price DON’T take the stop loss
c)then the price break another time the entry level.
I’d like the expert could have the possibility to open the trade only if the previous trade opened on that bar was stopped out, otherwise I would obtain 2 positions.

3.Is there the possibility to consider as open bar the London open time (like daily_open_line indicator in this topic).

I hope this make sense. Sorry for my bad English...

I feel a little bit like Antonio Esfandiari on HighStakePoker when they were playing the $1million buyin game. He was always saying "I love this", "We should do this every day" and so on. He almost never played a hand, but he was loooving every second. I have to say the same about this thread (only difference is I'm participating and trading ). It's simply amazing, thanks to everyone that has contributed, especially thanks to PC, Bemac and Jarroo.

Just one more thing: I love this!

I must say that I don't have a clue about poker, but I got what you meant.

Ok, I'm a doctor, and even in an "emerging" country like Brazil, it's a good job. It pays my bills and gives me a regular good life. I don't pay rental anymore, I can drink my wine sometimes, and I have free weekends. And I take it very seriously. But, believe me, it is way more stressful than trading.

But I have a natural born "disease". I LOVE TRADING.... since my beginning, years ago on stocks, I knew that this thing caught me... And this particular trading style we are learning with this amazing thread hooked me like a starving fish...

Thanks, NAL, for inspiring me to make this statement. I always wanted to...

And Thanks again to all that made it possible, especially Jarroo, Peter and Bemac!

Gotta love it. NAL you raised a point yesterday (I think) about having trades on the same pairs in both directions.

It seems to me that as the objective is to have free trades "hanging about for as long as possible", there will be many times when a long standing trade is in place with a wide s/l. As such there will be moves in the opposite direction which qualify as new Dibs. Given that the outcome is unknown, the logical things seems to be to have both trades, notwithstanding their initial hedging effect.

6 a.m until about 6 p.m(U.K local time) Mon -Friday, using the IB principles in conjunction with other analysis. Please get back to me if you think this would be useful. The technology is available with very manageable operating costs.

open a skipecast its easy no chat one speak and the others listen
if you want to speak you ask to the senior member if you can speak
its easy
the only skipecast about forex is in Russian
operating cost = 0 you need only an internet connection
they do their briefing also on Saturday and Sunday

That sounds good but does it have visuals. The main concept for the live trading room would be live charts and a trading room that encouraged participants to share their knowledge and experience.

Hey you guys,

I thought i'd jump in with a suggestion, been lurking in the background following this thread amongst others, really loving it.

I am in full time employment now but only have one week to go, my girlfriend is pregnant (due in four weeks) so we are leaving "The big smoke" (london) and heading back up north to Liverpool to be closer to our families. I am going to be studying for my masters full time and will be able to spend any time not studying my course to studying charts (and looking after the little one, of course!).

Now to the main point of my post! Some guys in another thread have opened up a room on a site called trading rooms dot com. Its free to register and looks pretty cool, i will be signing up in the next week and i thought maybe you could move the gang over there?

I think a "chat site" at Trading Rooms has been set up already.
Trading Rooms>Community Trading Rooms>DIBS
It's a bit quiet at the moment.

I am in a similar situation. I have a day job but I love trading. I actually did it for a living for a while, part success and part not so successful. However I find I just can't stay away from the markets.

I really like DIBS because with some other stuff I use if provides strict trade guidelines.

Who ever that was in the GBPJPY trade earlier which still hasn't developed, I think it will now with the news that is coming. Can't remeber who it was but soon you'll have that move (hope it's in your direction).
