First STRONG Resistance is 107.75 and then 108.00 and then 108.15

Support is 107.25 and then 107.00 and then 106.50 and 106.40

Now Let Us Wait For The News, The Price of Oil, The Price of Gold. The Dow Futures. The Open at 9:30 AM Option Expiry at 10:00 AM and the London Close around Noon.

Also watch the REACTION to the News as well.

The Financials are still heading down and also watch the Yields on the 2 Year and the 10 Year US Bonds. That will tell you where the Funds are flowing !!!

The YIELD on the 10 Year US Bonds is NOW 4.11% which means They are being Sold as The Yield GOES UP. The 2 Years are heading towards 3.00% as they are being sold off. Gold is being sold off as is Oil and so where is the Money going ?

How About Back To China and Russia. The Euro and Yen are being sold and the funds are being kept in US Cash so the US Dollar Index is Stronger.

Getting Ready for more BAD Economic News Again. Look at JP Morgan now. I just heard now on CNBC BIG Increase in the Sale of $25 Puts months out.

Are they the Next Bear Stearnes with a measly 76 TRILLION in Derivatives. Who took over Bear Stearns ?

My My My !!! Has The Light Gone on as yet.

Bruce

The Dow Futures are UP 61 now.

Every Day in the FX Currency Market, you have Option Expiry on the Various Currency Pairs !!!

There are some large ones at 108.00 so BIG Players Aim at Them. This Information is always available on various news sites.

Here is Some on USD/CAD

10:51 FX OPTIONS: USD/CAD 1-Year ATMF Vol Pivoting 10.3% Traded Level London, June 12. 1-year ATMF vol is currently 10.2/10.6, having reportedly traded at 10.3 pct yesterday. The period reportedly traded at 10.5 pct at the start of this week.
USD/CAD ran into resistance ahead of 1.0250 during the European morning, after pushing its recovery envelope from yesterday"s low of 1.0153. Spot scaled an 11-week peak of 1.0325 on Tuesday--ahead of the BoC"s surprise "unchanged" interest rate verdict. A 25bp cut to 2.75% was the consensus forecast.
A 1.0180 strike expires tomorrow. [email protected]

NP - we all "see" the markets differently and this works for me.

Nice spike up in UJ to hit R1 - for me that's take some profit and allow the remainder to run until it touches the outer band, the next mid pivot OR yesterdays high at 107.75 - there I'll take some more profits....IF price gets there!

BTW, I also had a nice sell in GBPUSD with my chart set up the same way - just closed in the spike down thru S1 to touch the 13 ema -50 band....http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

107.75 just hit as UJ continues its slow rally supported by the 13 ema as I posted earlier......http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

DOLLAR-YEN: Pressing to fresh highs for the day now, placing this week's
Y107.76 peak under threat. Offers still noted here, said to be
protecting barriers at Y107.85 and Y108.00, part or all of which are due
to roll off today.
- Dollar-yen vols are slightly softer, with barriers still noted at
Y107.85 and Y108.00. The one-week now trading at 12.00, with the
one-month at 11.70 and the one-year at 10.55. The one-month 25-delta
risk-reversal now trades 1.90 in favour of yen calls.

Don't see that 107.75 has been hit just yet. Looks like it's going out though. Rather unfortunate. Means my analysis was completely off.

News at 8:30 AM as relates to New Jobless Claims and US Retail Sales if Good Numbers (BETTER THAN CONSENSUS) Could Easily send USD/JPY through 108.00

If This Happens STOPS will be triggered. Use a 1 Minute Chart or your GUT with Tight Stop above and consider Shorting and getting Out quickly by moving Stop down to lock in profits.

We could have Bad Retail Sales and Good New Jobless Claims to confuse things. Be patient and use your head with the minimum of emotions attached.

Hi Bruce,
Firstly, thank you for sharing your knowledge. If i am honest i don't pay too much attention to it, however i am still grateful for your efforts here and other threads. It is good of you to share and help despite unjust attacks from "know it all supertraders".
Regarding the question.
Do you have any knowledge or if you have some contacts within a large bank to confirm if the big boys move price to get a better settlement at expiry time?
Thanks

There is only one supertrader here and he can handle the heat in the kitchen. I posted that last remark on purpose just to have fun. I subscribe to a news service at $300 Canadian a month. I cannot name it here because of promotion rules here. However they are always in touch with all the banks and traders and I get to hear the inside stuff. It eventually gets on the wires but I get it probably 30 minutes before others get access to the information.

I also use another service that is live audio 24 on 24 while Forex markets are open and the comments are fresh and from their reliable bank sources including I am sure some intentional misinformation.

Why am I so sure of myself ? Small things like 20% profit a month. once I had 693 trades in a row (REAL FUNDS) without a loss. Another time 1804 Trades on a Demo Account with only 4 losses trying out a new platform at PFG in Chicago.

For those that do not believe me I do not care. However send me a email if you wish to [email protected] and I will send you the PDF file of the Trades.

It is not arrogance to call yourself the BEST when you are !!!

Go to "Knowledge Is Power" thread and watch me use a FX Solutions Demo Platform with starting Demo Funds of $100,000 US Dollars and WATCH me make 1% a day or 30% a MONTH.

I would really like to meet one other trader in the world who can match that. If I can find him/her then I would be so very happy so he/she could teach me some new things.

I will be humble now and say G-D gave me my Life, My Talent and I owe it to G-D to share and teach and enjoy and learn and never quit !!!

G-D Bless you for your honesty. I love the TRUTH including the fact that I can be a P.S.D. at times. (Professional S H I T Disturber) I even have Business cards that I made up that I give to folks to amuse myself and them. The Truth is not always FUN but it is the TRUTH.

I paid my dues over the last 5 years. I went to bed at 1:00 AM and got up around 4:00 AM

At 64 years young I can go 18 to 20 hours a day working and playing and I do play as hard as I work. I rarely date over 25 since they cannot keep up with me. Sorry for the personal comments but I felt like giving some background on myself.

40 Minutes to News !!!

Best Regards

Bruce

For Now That Is or they will try to sell some so there is usually some interesting movement until about 8:05 AM.

What's going on?

  1. With continued focus on tight credit conditions and on price pressures, there is no major surprises in the Beige Book release yesterday. Economic growth is stated to be "generally weak" in April and May with slowing consumer spending, but manufacturing is also said to be supported by strong export demand.
  2. Today’s US Retail Sales are key in offering direction. We believe, expecatations are a bit too optimistic, judging by the cyclical state of the US economy and the domestic car sales. Tomorrow’s CPI will offer the second leg of a data-wise one-two punch. Could catapult USD higher and stocks lower.
  3. USDJPY is resting at trendline resistance 107.30 and EURUSD is trading towards the lower end of its channel since end of February. EURCHF looks weak and is signalling the reemergence of concerns about the state of the global economy.

CommentsUSDJPY103.90108.60We expect the JPY to continue on the offer despite the negative
sentiment in Equities as we believe the BoJ will keep current soft
rhetorics in statement tomorrow. We buy USDJPY at 107.32 bid, stop
offer at 107.18, targeting 107.75+.

See I Do Not Agree With Saxo Bank, one of the biggest band best. Why Not ?

Bruce, click on post reply, just like you would when posting without an attachment. Then under the body of your message you'll see an area of additional options. In that area you'll see a "manage attachments" button. Click on it, this opens new window that lets you upload your pdf file. That should be it. Thanks again.

USD/JPY needs to Go Over 108.00 and Stay There... Then 108.15 and then 108.35

Watch The Dow Open and wait until 10:15 AM after Option Expiry Time !!!

Will Dow Stay Up ?

Will EUR/USD keep dropping ? EUR/JPY still High at 166.12 as Carry Trade is On...

Look at US Dollar Index !!!

Everything is being sold. Gold ! Oil ! Euro ! Yen ! 2 Year US Bonds ! 10 Years

All Going into CASH as US Dollar Index Goes Up

As things stabilize the Money might return. With Dow Futures UP only 110 it is NOT going ALL into the Dow.

Where it goes next will detemine where USD/JPY goes.

AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN "The Charts CANNOT TELL YOU THAT"

The Charts are For Good Entry and Exit

Get With Mt Program and GET RICH !!!

Calm down Bruce...

YES USD/JPY is now 107.76 and I am PUMPED !!!
