i think to make life simple, here is my suggestion to those who can develop an indi

1. Indi of IB (dont paint the candle or bar, just show top or low of IB that meet criteria of IB)

2. pop up alert of IB & sound (showing IB alert and what pair)

the indi created by oksana previously is ok but the problem was.....
1. it paint the bar/candle & we need to refresh the chart many times...
2. its pop up alert just show "IB alert "..we need to go all the chart to see where is the IB

but honestly...you re great Oksana17.it is just my idea.

here is my friend and i rules that make his demo account double in 3 days

1. there is IB formed and complete.

2. we see if it is above or below SMA. if above SMA, buy only. below sell only (we put buy stop or sell stop) ea can do this better than us because sometimes, just after the IB, the price movement is so fast!

3. if MACD(i use 12 26 9) is also pointing up..then the buy valid. pointing/cross down...sell valid. but it must be same with SMA. both SMA and MACD up, IB is there...BUY. both SMA and MACD down, IB is there...sell only. we also can use stochastic (stoch is reliable on higher tf only) - but maybe ea programmer can put in the parameter (we can set it true or false) then we can try

4. tf..... 30m, 1hr, 4hr, daily. i try it at 4hr and daily. my friend is at 30m and 1hr

5. time to play 30m and 1hr....around 5GMT or 14GMT (can the ea set its start n stop timing for evaluating IB) we dont take the IB that creates before or after that time ( we can put it at our preferences time - we can adjust it accordingly)

6. money management (true/false) to set the lot based on capital ( can set to true or false)

7. if MM false, we can set our preference lot.

8. TP set up (true/false)
if true :

TP 1 = same of high to low of IB candle
TP 2 = move the 2nd lot to BE+1 when 1st TP reach
trail with xx pips

if false : set predetermined TP (xx pips)

SL - higher or lowe of previous candle(next to IB candle)

or if we use Jarro & Peter Crown rules
1. IB
2. up from opening time - buy only
3. down from opening time - sell only
4. SL - just at the top or low of IB
5. TP - predetermined or
high to low of the IB candle for 1st TP, then free ride the 2nd lot....

super simple eh this system.... ( i dont know how to create the ea). i just use my eyes to determine the entry...trend etc....but i know you guys can do it......

I'm a snakebite dog with the pound... got burned sometimes and now I have a mental block to trade it... I have to work it out with my psychanalyst

But the EUR , CHF and JPY have been nice to me so far... I got no IBs on EUR and CHF too, so I'm just flying the JPY...

Yes before starting the DIBS I had problems with the cable as well, but not any more

Fast moves today, EU and UCHF has already moved around their daily average ranges. EU low at round number and daliy s2. UCHF highs almost at yesterdays highs and close to daily M4. GU also almost done with its daliy average range and its close to the round number and just below it is yesterdays low and the monthly s1. UJ on the other hand has about 1/3 left of it's average left. It's now sitting between daily d1 and weekly r2 and might end up hitting close to 108.00 where monthly R2 and daily M4 lies.
I wont enter more trades, will just ride the UJ and GU, and will wait for the US session with its retail sales which if it comes out good will help the Feds decision to increase the interest rate and we will see a further move in favour of the USD. The forecast is better figures than the month before. Let's hope for even better numbers shall we?!

If you guys think that I should keep this stuff away from this thread just tell, and I'll only discuss IB's.
