it does....looks like EA is working well (opening pos/managing pos)

I will be constantly looking to fine tune, Ind portion that give buy/sell signal to the EA,,,

it is not opening trades in back testing. I don't know if problem is from my side.
I will forward test with you.

How can we backtest the Indicator's signals ?
because visually it doens't go very far.

hi sonic,I only got one Sonic_Ind_v1.0.ex4 in experts\indicators.
and I only open in H4 mode, never switch to H1 and then H4

any hints for multi entries?

I downloaded from post 374.
backtest is not opening trades. and no errors in Experts tab nor in journal.
we will see how forward test will go.

sorry if I am answering for Sonic but I want to suggest something,
Why don't you try downloading the demo version of odl platform and load the EA and indicator to it,
It might be the broker!, I know It may not make any sense but it could be worth trying because I had the multiple entries in the past with IBFX platform but it's not happening on odl platform
It's a far shot but worth trying

I am not sure it you have done this or no but before doing any backtest make sure you have downloaded the history data otherwise nothing will happen and it will not triger any trades!

thx,i would try. yet babybayfx is the ib of odl,they share the same server.and the time zone is the same with odl.

I may be a little retarded, but after reading the whole thread, and re-reading the first post, I'm confused.
Please, can anyone tell me what exactly and what versions should i attach to my charts? The EA and indicator versions no longer make sense to me.
Please advice.

Hi Sonic,

Like i posted before, i installed a fresh metatrader terminal to test Sonic Striker_V2 just in case something installed on the older platform would interfere with the ea.

I just copied Sonic_ind and laguerre indi into experts/indicators folder, but the problem persists.

Attached is a picture of indicators folder that confirms that í just installed one Sonic_Ind.

try using ODL demo,, Sir??

pls make sure the name of the indicator or EA is correct..make sure there is no [1] ... which is incorrect (refer to t pic attached)
