im still around
and always ready to answer questions. but yea most have been answered already so

i recently took up a trading position so it wont really change the frequency of my posts but ill keep u guys updated with the performance and the next exotic car i end up buyin and any other cool stuff i can share. only part time while i finish university

Melpheos you are correct in your statement about a failed signal. Boxing has shown me that if there has been a major move up or down, then any perfect signals thereafter will probably fail. I'm in Texas on CST so I find that normally happens around 11:00AM or 12:00 noon. I typically don't look for perfect setups by then anyways.

I've done incredibly well with this strategy but due to my new position at work i have no time to trade it on intraday and i really dont feel at ease trading it on higher than H1 TF (i think it's not reliable enough due to news release or geoeconomical change which can change a D1 trade from good to very very bad in a few days )

For the 50% retracement i meant what i said

If the price retraces above the 50% from the swing high/low of the last major move you can have a signal but it will probably fail. By retracement i mean that price break the 50% and close above/below it (not just a break)

I just took this trade off the 1hr chart. I'm up +5 so far.

nice to see you are still around !

i have had 3 trades so far .....1 cable sucessful and 2 losses......gbpchf and gbpjpy looked like really good setups..so good that i decided to trade on my real account and they both decided to turn around and bite me !

guess it is a bit more complex than it looks ha ha !

There is a big reason why i would not have taken this trade. The consolidation took far too long comparing to the duration on the last move.

I am looking to learn more about this system.
Why don't you post up those losing trades and maybe the guys who are experienced with the system can point out anything which might have told them not to trade?

Hi Kim,
Not very long. At the moment I am trying to decide which system to devote some serious time to. Either this one or Sait or Supernova. It's difficult to know which one offers the best chance to a comparative noob to get consistently profitable.

Hi jdcompute

i was looking at UJ as well...........i was looking at the 30 mins and see the 20stoch is moving up over 20 and has crossed it's signal line ....would this stop you entereing short ? also would you avoid entering until after the news at 830EST ?

I have a question for either jdcompute or melphoeos on the 50% retracement issue.

My question is with respect to the direction of the failed signal. Do you mean that a signal in the direction of the major move up or down will fail, or do you mean that a signal in the direction opposite to the major move up or down will fail?

This one was a good trade.

The last one you are pointing could have some potential so but the retracement is pretty high allready. Also it would be the 3rd leg so personnaly i would wait for another setup.

i saw gbpjpy ranging and the 5 at the top above 80 and so when it crossed it's signal line and the 80 line down i thought it would be a good opp for a short?

I'm up +15 pips on this one. The 4hr chart still supports the short so I'll stick with it a little while longer, maybe ride the 5,3,3 into the 20 zone.
