Good Morning

What you see is what you get. Whether you accept my position or style it is what it is. Trading Forex is both economic, geopolitical and human nature. Rather than debate the different views and perceptions the main purpose of my posting here is to try to help those who really are interested, serious and prepared to invest the time to learn how to be a consistent winner in Forex.

My role is not to tell anyone what to buy or sell and when. You can feed fish to people but it is much better to teach them how to fish for themselves.

Perhaps the most important characteristic required in Forex or any kind of trading is the makeup of the trader.

If you have serious problems with your ego, you deal with your fears while trading, you count on profits to survive or to buy a Ferrari then you will 100% end up as one of the 95% losers in Forex.

Work on yourself, do your research, make your own decisions, do not blame anyone for your position in life.

Here is perhaps one of the best things that I can do to help you and your Forex trading. For a few dollars, under $20 buy the latest copy of the book that I still read and have bought hundred's of copies of to give to people that I think are ready for a positive change in their life.

This book will help you conquer the 6 fears of life we all deal with everyday.

(1) Fear of Poverty
(2) Fear of Self Criticism
(3) Fear of Loss of Love
(4) Fear of Loss of Health
(5) Fear of Old Age
(6) Fear of Death

I have really conquered all these fears.

The book is called "Think and Grow Rich" The Author is Napoleon Hill.

The odds are very good that if you do not buy and read the book within the next three months you will not improve your Forex trading.

i have actually read that book awhile ago. i have since lent my copy to someone else and do not have it on me at the moment. it is a good book. but to be honest, self help books do not help me read charts and make decisions on whther a trade is imminent or good. i have read a few other self help books as well, and i do understand that a positive outlook builds confidence, but making positive trades do that as well. deciding on a trading strategy that you feel comfortable with and understand is also as important.

the only thing that i disagree with is your attitude. you seem to say that if i do not follow what you say to the "t", and act like a smart man like ron paul, that i will be unsuccessful in trading forex. i like to take articles and look for facts, and glean out opinion,w hich every article has. i am like joe friday, just the facts. leave the spin to the politicians.

you said earlier that you were going to help me and all the others on this thread how to make money and teach us what we needed to know to read the market and make good trades. all i have seen is links to try and brainwash me into a libretarian political discussion. my point being, can i change how the govt charts inflation or unemployment??? nope, that is for elected officials. the only way i can change that is to kill them all, take over and be a dictator and change them to the numbers you want. wil that happen, nope. sorry dude, that is the reality. politicians will screw up the country for greed and power, all i can do is profit on their policies, stupid or not. i am not happy with ploitics right now with the visceral hatred slung at each other. we will not solve the problems we face with the scorched earth policies between the parties.

all i ask is the meat and potatoes of what this thread is about, where the usd/jpy is going. i know this may hurt your feelings, but we are all here to make money, not discuss politics, there are other threads for that.

you cannot change my opinon, i have to change myself. self help books are just that, self help. they are not meant to have you read them and then make up everyones mind for them on what your opinion is and yours is correct. here is something that has never been explained with the people who have quit looking for work. how do they live??? if they do not make money from a job, how do they eat, where do they live,etc... oh wait, they are on welfare, so they can be considered working for the govt, right???

look, i can understans you want to help us by "educating" us all with information from a perspective that maybe we do not have, which i am not against. wht i have aversion to is the preaching, which you are doing. people, just like me do not like to be forced to listen to the preacher tell them they are evil, repent now or catch fire 5 seconds from now. dude, chill a little. there is alot of data and i need to assimilate it, i am not as fast as the borg.

like i said, let's start seeing some data and trade calls from you and see where that takes us. save the preaching for later when the profits start rolling in. money in my account will make me more receptive to what you have to say.

Where do you short USD/JPY ? What does your 5 minute and 1 minute chart tell you if you day trade ? Are you trading with the trend ? Do you have a entry point ? Do you have a exit Strategy ? Are you calm ?

If you cannot answer thgese questions than just go for a walk.

You need to do the work. Have you opened your Demo account as yet ?

If the answer is NO, then you are not serious. That is the way it is. I will NOT waste my time if people are not ready to do things the correct way. Why should I ?

My time is ALL I have and we never know how much time we really have left.

Do You Really Want To Try To Make 10% return a month on your Demo account before you start trading real funds ?

I see USD/JPY has run up to 104.12 as the Dow is down 10 Why ? Short covering ? Buying of Inventory ? Where is the Next Resistance ? Is The Currency going Higher ? Do YOU short 100K now ?

You Decide since it is you who need to take your own decisions.

well, to each their own. i have found a system that works for me. in the last 10 trades, demo of course, i have made a total of 1500 on 1 lots traded. 2 were were losong trades, i jumped the signals. i will be a successful trader despite your predictions. just remember, the karma train will come looking for you, and you had better run and hide, it will not be nice to you!
