Hi Jacko,

Never saw you post anywhere. Thanks for dropping in. Are you really expecting eurusd to continue to go down and hit 1.52 by the end of the week? Of course whatever you say, everybody would believe.

My worthless eurousd analysis
Buy at trendline around 1.5414 targeting 1.5650...stop 30 pips below.

By the end of the week huh? I think at best we might get down to 1.5350 by week end. However, I have been short for so long, the sooner the better but I think by the end of this month we might see 1.52 or 1.51. We will wait and see as I will continue to sell.

i happen to agree with the direction,... 1.52 certainly is possible... but best to do your own work to understand your reasons why... "look before you leap."

i'd be curious about Jacko's reasons (said with all respect) and why others might agree with Jacko. My reasons:
1. LT short channel beginning 4/22 at 16:00 GMT
2. Currently pausing (could reverse but i don't think so) from the bottom of a MT long channel beginning 5/8 at 1:45 GMT reinforced by a variety of other support elements
3. ST short channel beginnning 5/13 at 5:00 GMT.
If you want, plot them all on the same graph.

Gotta run to a meeting. Hope to catch other charts / fundy comments that point in a direction later. Catch y'all in a few.

Looks as if its going up to me. If it breaks over pivot at 491 and USD/CHF breaks through resistance at 501, I'm in.

I haven't been here to FF for a little while...my two little groups keep me busy

I have received a couple of complaints in the last couple of days about some bad behaviour in The House of Pain and Pleasure Thread, so I thoght I had better have a "look+see".

It appears that the problem may have gone away....

Trouble is it's very difficult to determine what the real trend is. Earlier today, everybody was really set that eurusd was going through the roof. Some predicted that it was going to hit 1.56 by the end of the day. But we all know what happened - 100 pips in the "wrong" direction.

There is also such thing as no trend at all :-) Meaning don't trade at all or scalp 5-10 pips at a time

In a long run, however, I still maintain that EUR will visit 1.4850 early in the summer. Not that I am a bit optimistic about the US economy - quite the opposite. However, from a technical standpoint EUR just has to consolidate at 1.48-1.49. Stimulus checks (or a temporary dose to a chronie) should provide enough fundamental news to support USD before it falls to new lows across the board

Well it seem like I'm the only one still looking up. With the market having shot it's wad and price going through it's usual spaz attack like it usually does after this type of news, it now wants to retest the .5500 handle. Through out this morning it never closed below .5450 on the hourly and got back in at that price. But I'm guessing this could be a short lived position.
