@ sonic - with this ea you will have 2 further problems: first: multiple entrys and second: sometimes (often) no sl/tp will be executed... today i had both problems in different pairs...

Maybe theres someting im missing, but i wonder why the eur/usd went short, my macd hasnt gone short...or am i using a wrong macd?..i use the macd from the dx divergence indicator shared by sonic himself, it goes 12 26 9...i think the dfault rule says macd below 0

I only use lag1 (Blu)..MACD not included yet!!! it aleady give me much trouble!!

Hi Guys. I loaded the EA on 7 pairs. Used the defaults except that I changed the lot size and decided to activate Take Profit at 50.0.

I have EAs activated and have smiley faces. But the EA hasn't taken a trade all day. I'm using a demo on FXDD. I checked the journal and didn't see any errors.

Any ideas? Is there an indicator I need maybe?

I'm sorry to ask a simple question............. But, I am having trouble getting the sonic template and striker EA into my ODL platform. (Due to the fact that they are zipped)

I am just adding lag1, BUY if more than 0.15 and SELL if less than 0.85...
Lag 2 and MACD not included yet!

you have to unzip the file first,
then put the indicators in C:\Program Files\ODL MetaTrader 4\experts\indicators

EA in C:\Program Files\ODL MetaTrader 4\experts

template into C:\Program Files\ODL MetaTrader 4\templates

please no one use this EA or any other EA on this thread on a live account. all of them are still in development and have some problems.

go to tools click on options click on Expert Advisors
check allow live trading.

Yes Abouelzelouf, I am live trading because it shows happy smiling face for EA, so it is not because of that for sure. Thanks

it will show a smiley face if allow live trading is checked or unchecked.

@ sonic ... its only an idea, but perhaps it helps to deploy your EA... first do only a "signal & get in the position" EA to test only this feature (turn the order managment off, this can do the swiss army knife or mtp or something like that).... Not till then the entry works like your idea, then do the exit/MM... dont do everything in all / to the same time...

i have no experience with MQL/MT4 but i designed with other programms trading systems for futures and thats one of the ways which will work...
