Yea, same here in Aus. Still beats our 7.25% fed rate. 9ish for home loans, 14-15% for credit cards.

Price is now at hourly ema50. Next supports at 548, 55, ema100 and previous ranging low area at 553. If it goes through all that, might start carefully considering some small uptrend but better wait for hourly 200ema..

Despite bad home sales tomorrow the E/U will top around 160 -161 in the next few weeks. There will be too much global pressure for anymore downside to the US$$ even though US gov does not seem as concerned because of positive exports. The verbiage from the G-7 meetings did not have much of a desired impact other than to prolong the inevitable. I will be scaling in shorts from 160.
Time to TP on last of 6 lots and back to the DOW and OIL we go.

Forget the charts right now unless you are scalping.
There won't be any meaningfull movement until NY gives some fundamental direction. The overnight markets are neutral for the most part. The dollar will need some more positive news before another nice move down.

There is some news scheduled to come out today from the US.

Just not sure how they will move the pair. Of course, the true chartists will say that there is no effect news should have on the price movements.

A fal to mid 53 looks very likely to me (I've shorts open), looking at the longer term charts I'd also think that a further drop to 1.5 is more likely now than an uptrend back up, if it reaches 1.5 area we'll see what happens next..

It's looking like it's moving dangerously close to resistence line, but then I don't really know for sure. I hope you are right. Are you basing your prediction based on charts or fundamentals? Looks like there may not be much that can move euro downwards in the next day or so.

The market is still unravelling the divergence issues in a similar manner to the gold market and the current base at the 1.5415 support has been sustained to a close. The downside move has been made with a negative harmonic which suggests that the market could see a strong recovery in the course of the next few weeks. For the moment though we view that the market has now entered a similar position to that seen in November to February where the market had to provide consistent consolidation to erode the negative divergence before resuming trend to the topside. This is the position that we currently believe that we have entered. Thus our outlook remains that the downside is still in play and we would expect that we could see weakness that could extend to the 1.5184 level before the market finds a serious bottom. However, the key 1.5415 level still remains in place and as such the market could offer a base here before retesting toward the highs. Thus we remain cautious of attempting shorts from here and would be looking at building structural longs with a stop at 1.5331 aware that if this level falls then the market could move to the 1.5184 level. Frm a DeMark perspective, TDMA1 continues to suggest a bear bias on closes below 1.5570, but we are likely to post a 9 count buy set-up today, putting the market in line with USDCHF and USDJPY where we may see USD bears start to regain control. The house view remains that this market is long term bullish and has offered no termination of trend signals as yet. Thus we would be looking for the topside to be retested and fully expect that we will see the 1.60 level again during the next few weeks. However, this again would be offering a selling opportunity as the consolidation required appears to need a further month to two before it will be able to recommence the bull market.

It already made a low there and it's on the current trend, why not ? On the other hand above it has the current 50ema on hourly that it seems stuck on for now, 100ema at about 552 now, 548, 55 and above.. all pretty serious resistance areas.. Plus, this very slow local uptrend looks like a bearish sign to me.

Hi,
I see some nice resistance at 1.5498
But, EJ is crossing its own resistance now so im long on it. Looks nice yet.
I'm trading for a short time, but it's still good to know
