You can have clues on the longer term trend, just look at the daily/weekly chart...

I would think that most private traders on this forum can only focus on the day-to-day price action since most of us can't afford a 200-pip drop and wait for things to come back up in our direction.

I look at the data from the big time frames so i can trade the smaller time frames....the fibbs in the daily chart hold more support or resistance so I am aware of this levels when i trade in the 1 hour chart...

currently looking neutral to early decide a trade.....wait for franky open and see price direcion....

Price broke my intraday fibbs to go short and broke support to go long...I believe more bearish though we are breacking the trendline i would wait for more movement in the market....looking to see if resistance do hold...we have a major support at 5620....so its undecided....once again the key here is time...if i get a clos above itraday long at franky time i would take it since then we would be bullish ....any long trade long now i would treat as a scalp....sentiment in the market is still bearish to me as long as we are below intraday long...

If you enter a E/U trade and it went 50 pips against, consider that a lesson learned in bad positioning and let that position close. Then use Jacko's Anti-Hedging rule to let the market pick up that fallen trade once it resumes back to its major trend. That works if you are trading in direction of the major trend in the first place. Use fibs and trend lines to position your orders on the daily, h4, or h1 chart.

Over trading and trading against the trend will mostly bring losses in the long run...JMHO!

RES 3: $1.5790 50.0% retracement of $1.6020-$1.5555
RES 2: $1.5760/68 5 21-day moving average
RES 1: $1.5705 Hourly high
CURRENT LEVEL: $1.5642
SUP 1: $1.5550/55 Hourly low Daily Bollinger band base
SUP 2: $1.5500/11 2% moving average envelope Low 3 April
SUP 3: $1.5389 38.2% retracement of advance from $1.4369
SUP 4: $1.5344 Recovery low 24 March
COMMENTARY: 3-black crows on candlestick charts and a bearish outside
week follows the break of 1-month support line along with the bear-cross
of the 5 & 21-day moving averages keeping near-term attention lower.

Daily Strategy: The most important news that will move the forex market this week is the expecting FOMC policy statement. It is expecting on Wednesday.
