I'm sorry to say but our president is senile, these checks are a joke and will probably stimulate the Chinese economy more...LOL!

As my favorite comedian Bill Maher said recently - George Bush calls this recession a slowdown because every time his advisors start talking to him about the economy he says "whoa, whoa, slow down!"

On a serious note, it's not just George, but most of the congressmen, senators, and all presidential candidates praise their "wise" decision to stimulate Chinese economy with borrowed money... The level of incompetence across the board is just astonishing...

I still think it is amazing that for a major (for that matter minor) company you at least need a business/finance degree and a sh%t load of experience to run the finances of the company, and while you may not run the company the bloke that does will generally listen to you. However in government you can run a country and have the final say over massive amounts of money that effects every person in the country and all you have to do is get elected by the masses. Hence why actors, and sons/wives of former presidents can get a run. The financial people are at best advisors that may or may not be listened to by those that have the shiny white teeth.

I appreciate that company's can get into finacial trouble as well but that is more through greed (Bear Sterns etc) than anything else (no one please correct the Bear Sterns thing, just using as an example of a company that fell over dramatically). And the driectors etc of these company's get investigated and possibly disgraced in court, an outgoing President just smiles, hugs his wife and collects all the ex-president bonuses for the rest of his life.

What's even cooler is that it actually works. Accountability is more important than experience, it's when you have neither that things fall apart.

Do you mind sharing with me why you got in eurusd short? At what price level did you get in the short position and what's your target tp level? Are you looking at the movements in your direction short-term, i.e. early next week? Thanks.

Possible UJ Gap up on this weekend, and i doubt that EU will Gap down.. i will wait and will see , I might long Eu from 1.55 or 1.5480 area.. lets see

Like someone said somewhere on the forums here, you wanna make certain cash - short USD/CNY for a year or two, the way it looks right now it's even the perfect opportunity.
