It is uncertain whether this pair will go up or down beyond today. Existing Home Sales come out tomorrow in the US, and it is hard to determine whether cheaper housing prices will spur home sales or whether the state of the US economy is bad enough where people just won't buy houses because it is not economically unreasonable. We'll just have to see tomorrow.
I'll sign that... but as for the Existing Home Sales, those certainly will be lower: its difficult to get approved for any type of credit, its difficult to get it underwritten, and Fixed-Asset Forwards are, naturally, tough, too. I don't see this boding well for the dollar.

in principle I would agree. OTOH, the Euro-zone keeps inflating and inflating like some kind of "Luftballon" (hey, anyone remember 99 Luftballons, by Nena, the 80's hit song?) and then Trichet says "ready to curb inflation at any time". Yes, industry hates it, but what are they gonna do? It's clearly a policy difference between the ECB and the Fed. ANd as a result, the yield gap is probably going to increase throughout the year until the euro-zone is definitely no longer inflating, or starting to really hit the doldrums economically. Considering how well China and Russia is still holding up, I can't see why that would happen anytime soon, though. No doubt, though, 1.60 is going to cause some PR-blitzes by the various central bankers, the goons at UBS,PNB, etc, and of course the positively lovely forex-lady on bloomberg tv...(drool).

from now i dont to place stop loss..
all post i will close +1pips, today was loss at USDJPY and EURJPY -60pips (USD600)..need to cover by today

and TP at 5940

total win trade on EURUSD : +213pips
so, i need some sleep then at 9pm i wake up to catch up USDCAD n GBPCAD

Regarding UCAD, is trading well above its daily pivot which is at 1.0049..
Price been fluctuating since last week, with no clear direction..
Maybe trying to touch 1st of its resistances..(1.0107)
I don't trade UCAD, so I could be wrong..:

The dollar makes temporary recovery against the euro


News:

EUR/USD (1.5869)
European & US sessions forecast levels: 1.5815/1.5985
Trend Sessions: European: Neutral/Upward
US: Neutral/Upward
Market Focus: 10:00 AM Existing Home Sales.
Daily Strategy: The dollar continues to trade close to the record level against the euro. Ay negative news for the US economy will push the euro to set new record against the dollar as break above the psychological levels of 1.60. The trading strategy is opening long positions, as buy on dips. The problems for USA banks will deeper for couple of months the most important news will be how deep is the recession and how much are the losses of the biggest USA banks. If the dollar falls above 1.60 against the euro we can see levels of 1.62-1.63 within a week time.
