Possible move for week 04/13/08

EUR/USD

1.6150
1.550

166 for the week

344 pip divergence / 5 days = 70 pip break

= 1.5826 + 70 = 1.5896 go long
1.5826 – 70 = 1.5756 go short

344 - 70 = 274 pip potential profit in place for this week.

you are right .. Crude Oil invetory has been changed , which weaked the USD and you see EU spike..

It's up there 5 hours know and keeps slowly climbing after testing 1m 250ema now (5m 50 ema).. I'd think the shorts against 1.6 would soon run out and nothing will keep it down.. All it needs is 30-40 pips..

EDIT: closed my small short from 951 with small loss at 960, don't believe the good r:r is worth it any more..

no, no no, mate. i am don't think i will long from here. it is not safe, 159 doesnt pose any support from this break. and tomorrow, US may post some good surprise data. then in fact, there are room for short.

I see a bullish ascending triangle (continuation pattern) on m5 and m15, and this means that the uptrend will continue when the price breaks above the area around 1.5968. But who knows! Let's wait and see

I see it Lower line coincides directly with 5m 50 ema for the past 2 hours.

seriously - if we dont see a decline in the rest of ny session and if tomorrows unemployment claims come out as expected we will most probably just stay up here till the end of the week, then make a huge gap up over the weekend to create a new high and all of a sudden drop with next week. i expect a larger portion down in the very next weeks, but the news for that is not in sight yet.
