I am not trying to be smart, but when you say it will go down anyway, and then you say maybe a couple of days, Dude, you can say that about every pair. I will surely be up and down with this pair in the next couple of days.

Was thinking the same thing last night. Bought in at low 1.57 and just closed trade at 1.58.

Thanks hard1head1 for the motivation to go long.

Nope, my red line is at 5913 and that is about it if that. My estimate of 1.6000 would have had to come before the news release at 8:30.....But I will take my 150 pips

I agree ole buddy, like I said, 1.6 would have had to come befor now. As matter of fact, she may have hit her limit right here.

Hmm.. G7 may not mean everything but it means something.. considering most peoples' been saying it will go down anyway. Well, hope you 1.6+ guys have your stops in place, I think it won't be long now (a couple more days) and it might hurt...

I don't know where it's gonna go, no one does, I'm just listening to people and looking at the chart. Now some people here keep mentioning 1.6 and trading the breakout and so on which could end up badly for those people or other people trying to follow that advice. I did not talk of adding shorts at 57 so why should people mislead others with adding (larger term) longs above 58. If you trade the range then leave 1.6 alone without those misleading oh yeah it's going up up up calls.

Cool then, so look at this big triangle and tell me which side does it look like it's gonna go ? And I do mean just looks, not take position unless you short from a high.

I'll watch oil, gold, the dow, equities and the dollar index not a triangle right now, too much was made out if the G7 meeting when it was apparent Saturday they had said little and were going to do even less short term. Until something happens to confirm a trend reversal this pair is still in an uptrend.

dont worry about G7, they are now just do talk the talking, walk the walking... only thing is japanese Yen may not pose new high againest dollar in near term.

until u hear nothing from the G7,but see some bizzard dollar stronge reversal,,,, just long.... i believe there are is a good chance that another big rally is on its way, in 7 days time.

I have a good short set up on the EURUSD.

Looking to set short at 1.5846 or a little better. Target 1.5612.

I don't see why we want to short this thing. Do the technicals indicate a downward trend?

Both targets on this justcatalin-schiff fork have been met.

IMO, probable change of direction is due.

I'll be shorting on a close below the green sliding parallel line.

good luck
