I shorted due to failure of triple top buts theres always a case for which direction we interpret will head towards.

Interesting observation.

Draw the 200 MA on GJ 15 minutes....It follows it suprisingly well.

It jumped above the 200 MA 15M TF yesterday and is being supported by
it right now....


What does that say about E/U...

GJ moves higher when UJ moves higher. UJ moves higher on dollar strength...

If GJ holds above that 200 MA....the 200 MA from the higher time frame are just above current price levels

If the 200 MA holds on the 15M it could very well break up above the 200 MA of the higher time frames..

Anyway just bored wanted to share.....watching the 200 MA on GJ 15TF...It could say alot about dollar and dow performance tomorrow....anywayssss gl everybody

It might be a choppy ride going up but I think we'll make it up to at least 875 (my TG) before figuring out the next move.

I also trade on technical analysis but purely on Price Action, fibs, trend lines and S/Rs. Out of 4 trades, I have had 1 bad so far.=D
But it would be even better to have other strategies in support for the decisions I make. =))

This question might be a little offtopic for the type of discussion on this thread but it's still related to USD-EUR.

Lately I've been visiting the forex forums daily and keeping a close tab on the exchange rates because I have over 200K in USD that over the last year lost quite a bit of value against the EUR. Since I'm in Europe this is affecting me a lot.

Deutsche Bank bank predictions as well as a private banker who I've been having talks with still predict 1.45 by end of the year.

What is the sentiment of you guys about a possible recovery of the greenback by the end of this year, or first months of 2009?

I'm stressing out everytime I see the dollar hit new lows because I have almost all my money in USD (long story but the short version is that I get paid in USD and have been waiting for better days to exchange part of the money - only if I had a crystal ball a year ago :/).

Thanks in advance for any input given.

Talking about forecasts, i work for a French Bank and their Euro prediction is 1.43 and this was predicted at the beginning of the year so.......

I don't really know. Do the banks forecast correctly..........only time will tell

Noticing that price still pays respect to this flag even though we had a breakout from it. I have experienced before fake breakout like this and price came back into the pattern again and did the opposite. Will it happen again ?

That's a smaller channel, there's a bigger ascending triangle starting from the low at about 5756 with 3 lower touches and I'm guessing 5860 is about the upper line..
