Now we have this expanding triangle to worie about. Now I'm not going to trust any breaks if it rallies all the way to the top.

As per my understanding it is going to touch weekly support 1.5466 and then go up tomorrow - at Non Farm Payroll News - The market is just trending and is getting ready for higher move.

EUR/USD (1.5631)
European & US sessions forecast levels: 1.5530/1.5730
Trend Sessions: European: Neutral/Upward
US: Neutral/Upward
Market Focus: 8:30 AM Initial Claims, 10:00 AM ISM Services, 4:00 AM EU Retail Sales, 5:30 AM ECB President Trichet Speaks.
Daily Strategy: The recovery of the dollar is over. The last speech of Bernanke stops the dollar winning process. The chances for recession are more than 50%. At the same time is talking about that Fed will cut the interest rates with 25 bps to 2.00%. Also the expecting key Friday non-farm payrolls and unemployment rate will push the dollar again close to the last records. It is possible fast movements above 1.58 in the coming hours. The today’s strategy is opening long positions, as buy on dips.

Hi. I have several sell orders starting from 1.5822 with take profit at 1.5470 so my question is , should I keep t/p at the same level or better to move bit down for example 1.5319 seems very real but I prefer to close positions this week. Any ideas?

You can always take part of your profit now, just to reduce your risk and capture some of your gains...

It seems like were heading up, but waiting on berneke to talk first before it makes the move.

There's a my opions only, good luck everyone.

Better than expected ISM #'s. I plan to see some downward movement and ranging until tomorrow's Employment information, which I believe is going to be bad.

There are some gas stations that are not selling gas anymore because profit margins on gas are too low, and many lose money due to credit card fees and such! How long does a gas station without gas survive.... I guess we'll find out (My guess is not very long). There are more than likely many industries in America affected by pricey oil, which will generate poor employment #'s for tomorrow, and should push EUR/USD up to higher territory.

I see strong resistance around 5700 and support around 5500. I am looking for short entry more than long right now, but possible direction is really unclear right now. Patience is the key here.

EDIT: the center of the 3 small parallel lines needs to be tilted a bit to start from right at the top of thefirst peak and then they're really parallel.

Intersting. Add some uptrend lines inthe middle and you would have a nice looking Gann chart.

That was a nice move. Much bigger than I expected. I did not join as longer time frames are telling me to look for shorts right now. I don't like to go against the current trend, even if I am expecting a nice bounce off a fib. Unless I am feeling frisky.

I did expect it, but the SL was too tight, shoulda put it right below 1.55 but then who knew.. Though some did I see.. Overall, this was a REALLY bad day unfirtunately.. Going back to slow and steady with my ema/sma system on 1m and only riding the really high certainty BIG moves. Doing as well in a ranging market is going to take a lot of work yet..

SHORT?!?!

Long trend still up, mid trend bottom close to long trend bottom and mid top forming nice up wedge. Short trend up. Yes the E$ will go down, sometime, the question is can you wait? We are now above weekly pivot that is now support. NFEC & Unemployment tomorrow will most likely cause another run up to 1.58 -1.6?

FXGenius, I am range-scalping for 10-20 pips in this dead market before the start of the Asian session. As for the up-trend I expect it to resume 2-3 hours before the NFP announcement
