People who subscribe to the University of Michigan telephone conferencing, get the news earlier at 9:45 am it seems. If that is true, then i dont really know why we should be waiting for the news release 15 minutes later.

seem to me now - 'numbers' doesn't matter. whether we get it fast or last, the reaction to it remains as 'mystery'

news trade does pay off- even 5 pips or 10 pips is enough during news

eur gave up lot's of pips today.

That is true but the number of players are not very large and therefore it dose not make a big difference to the market, except it dose give a hint as to what direction to go. However the big boys only come into play when the new is released officially at 10 a.m. and this really decides the true direction.

I think henceforth it's too risky to trade this news at 10AM since it's already known to other guys 15 minutes earlier and surely they will spread the news.

This trade historically takes time to manifest and can take a good 5 to 15 minutes to reach its full potential.
