its difficult to call a short at this point and I wouldn't buy up here that is why I will wait. Although I do believe price will come down, it just seems like there are many obstacles along the way that might give me stress and cause me to do something stupid. And so I will wait. To the upside, there is alot of room, but for me to take that position amist this large ranging market would be too risky unless taken at a much better price.

We haven't seen a 4hr candle closing below 9700 for quite some time now. Actually we're already spending much more time above 9700 compared to previous 3 peaks...

I still see the bear coming. Limping, but coming. ... I just don't think the bull is as good as dead already

U of M index will probably determine final move today. Currently a 66 pip daily range, seems too small but no rules for daily ranges. I favor a strong number coming out with a move down to 1.9670/80. Weak number opens the door up to 1.9840.

OR MAYBE NOTHING WILL HAPPEN AND WE SHOULD ALL TAKE THE WIFE TO LUNCH (AND HOPE TO AVOID THE GIRLFRIEND. LOL)

I am moving my first buy order up to 9617 bid - with next buy at 9602 bid

ther are always "obstacles" above 1.9750 exposes 2.000 below 1.9750 exposes 1.9500 simple as that. last time I checked there were sixteen ounces to a "pound" I don"t belive a pound of that stuff is worth two bucks just my "TWO " pips

ok leuigi, cesar, paint is drying. we are waiting for the news, as i see it. if there is some "wow" number, good or bad, will that really move the market are they just waiting for us to get bored ot tears and then move when we all leave?? analysis is good, but in the end, the strength or weakness of an economy based to another moves the market, right?? the u.s had a slowdown, but not a huge one and it is rebounding, slowly for now. the dollar should get stronger, but i think the yen weakness, causing gbp/yen to go to the moon has skewed the gbp/usd!? this could go on for another week or more, meaning very tight days and then a huge breakout, maybe.

question, what is a ghost fibo?? where did that come from, i was just getting fibos??

this is getting complicated for me, i am new and i am just trying to build my account to a respectable level and i am trying to understand as much as i can, but sometimes i am so lost, i haven't a clue what to do and i miss moves with so much conflicting info. 5 people see it going up, show charts and fibos, 10 show charts and fibos going the other way with all other kinds of info, the 20 say it will be flat and just to scalp. then 5 minutes later, everyone changes their minds and the price has moved 5 pips!!! read the last days entries and tell me i am wrong!!! don't get me wrong, this is very good to see what other people see and think, but how does anyone make any money????? if i don't have an aneurism, i will be amazed!!!

If price can get down to low 700 high 600s prior to news release, I may have a chance to get that fill today. Still looks too far though for now.

the highs are geting lower and lower i thing that the bulls lost their momentum.

I conflict myself all the time, it is just part of how I analyze the conditions. I try to see as many angles as possible, but when I jump on train, it is because I feel very strongly about it and many strong angles are pointed that way make. Nobody here is trying to tell you which way to go, but if you really want to learn something here, then just soak up all of the contradictions, make your own analysis, and then observe your charts. You are free to change your opinion at any time wether it be 5 seconds from now or 10 days from now, and lastly, you must also realize that not everybody here is trading off of the same timeframe. It is not contradictory to be long one timeframe and short another. Anyway, take what you can out of it and participate, I know it helps me to participate and to get insight into how others view the market. If you don't get anything out of it, it is ok too just look somewhere else that may be more beneficial for you. As for "I don't know what to do one is long one short one flat" - That is nobodys problem but yours my friend - Your money, your call. Best of luck to you.

you can just use any standard charting software and press the insert indicator - mov avg exponential button.

Yeah mtrmth... I´m having a hard time here as well. There is a consolidation in place here, fuelled by the GB interest rate hike, as I see it.

We are running for 5 min pips here, but the governments & institutions at large have important issues in respect with currency.

One pip is money for us. They talk cents... 1,96, 97 or 98? They leave the pips for us as their leftovers...

The ghost fib is what I called I fib I've drawn from yesterday's low 9635 to an hipotetical 9846 today. We never saw this 9846 so far. But this fib seems to be at work here... I mean, OF COURSE thw whole world is talking 9846 today. The bulls want to see it. The bears want to avoid it. Here we are in the between, trying to eat the small pips they throw away...

Relax... This time of consolidation will provide us a good move. several hundreds of pips move...

closed my short @ 19720.. I think my head would pop if I missed ANOTHER chance to exit with a small profit and it reverses..of course now comes the move down. lol.

I'll re enter on a break of the big fig.
