Cesarnc, I came on a little later this morning, can you tell me how you established 1.9635 as the low point of your Fib? Your ghost Fibs 50% and the 50% line of the Fib that I am using are only 1 pip apart.

Yesterday's low at news, as you've suggested.

Fibs are working fine with news-in. Trendlines working better news-out

Good afternoon, have been following your excellent thread for a few days now and find it extremely helpful, thought it would be impolite to continue reaping so much benefit and not saying hello and thanks.
Good to hear from so many seasoned traders discussing their strategies etc. I'm a recent convert to currencies (only traded indices before) and this thread has been like an accelerated learning curve for me while I watch some of your plays materialise. I won't clutter up your board with dumb questions but I may seek some clarification on occasions, hope you don't mind.
Watching this move closely, could be a false bo or maybe a test of new support???

Thank you. I saw that just after I sent the post. The price pierced the 61.8% line of the 1.9772 to 1.9711 Fib, formed a shooting star on the 5 min over this 61.8% line which is being confirmed at this time by the following candles closing below that shooting star. There is still a small ascending channel forming on this 5 min chart that has not been broken yet though. Let me know if this is TMI.

notic on 150 tick chart how RSI is respicting the Range represented by the red lines, and it yesterday violated the lower blue boundry all the way down to red base - another signal of trend change to down side - supporting divergence signals

1.9744 a break below this pivot and down we go 1.9758 resitance 1.9732 support

1.9717 is daily pivot, is that right? I missed that earlier, but this is where we sit for so long, too... overall trading - so far - is above this figure.

My long entry is set at where price and reverse engineered rsi meet at this lower trendline, if it happens.

I dont think we will see it today, but if we do, my order will be there. I really like the long prospects of GBP these days, but I will not buy at this price, especially on a friday.

yesterdays wasn't so crazy, we had volatile news coming out, market coming out of overbought conditions and a level to buy that would initiate a positive reversal - with some nice fib confluence behind for protection. Not nonsense.

Also right before the news we were at an area where the average move after news was capable of reaching that number - everything was lined up.

NYers not playing so far. That will reinforce this 97MID even during possible USD-positive news...

Closing today above 9716/9722 will cut the bulls loose for Monday...

P.S. And I freed this whole week intending to trade all the way down to 92XX..... Go figure.
