A flag formation on the 2 and 4 hr charts which should lead to a breakout after news release. I'm placing a limit buy at 1.9770 and a limit sell at 1.9796(don't want to be greedyhttp://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon14.gif)

That would cover your spread from 1.9606 for a Long Entry, this seems probable, especially if the news punches it downward.

We are seeing some drop here, but this is just pre-news positioning happening, you could actually scalp 5-10 pips up here. But I would't try it for the sake of being safe.

My eye is on the same spot "L".

Hmmm, spike down is worrisome. cancels pending orders. wait and see approach looks prudent.

We are touching this black channel's lower trendline right now. I'm watching for 9716 and 9680 as fibos of a projected low 9635 / hight 9846. AS this news can move 20 pips and retrace (news forum), 9680 may be a call for a short until Leugimp's buying area (the wider channel)

9748's a good figure to watch, monarch. But I'll feel much safer above 9765

As was my worry, retail numbers couldn't push past 1.9778. This number does fan the flames for continued pressure for rate hikes. However another hike to 5.5 by April is already priced into futures contracts which has filtered into current spot price.

Flat for now, leaning towards short.

Market still aiming 9846, isn't it?

Worth noting is gbp/jpy. Double top could be forming on dailies.

Right now, Im just looking at an outside bar on 1600 tick and once this candle is closed, I may go for 10 pips on breakout of either side.

mine touched a low of 9717..

and im still on my stand tht the cable will go lower today,well hopefully,some asked me earlier right on what base i stand upon saying this...

erm,actually i decline to reply to it, but then well juz a simple base pointing to monarch and a few others who questioned,..trying to give some focus on FA and blend it in with your TA rather than juz focussing on TA almost 100% as I see most of you guys here focus on TA almost most of the time (from my rather simple and humble observation of posts made here)..anyway juz my 2 cents as a newbie..hehehehe...

and no offense on what i say here yeah..peace..
