yes thank you that was good call. the night before the non farms payrolls i read similar analysis on another website and they called friday non farms perfectly before it even happen and save me a lot of money getting caught in euro long.

now where do we go from here? friday retrace looking like profits taking maybe. maybe more profits taking next week then move back up when fed cut rates again. i guess we see.

I think it will be going to at least 1.000, maybe higher first.
Correct possibly 1.0050/1.0100 band. but then should move lower nicely. I will look for shorts in the 1.0050 zone anyway.

Ascending trend, but there are some signs of trend turn:
1) if the channel "C-C+" will be broken through, then level 1.4955 will become target

2) if the pair won't be able to go down lower then level 1.4910, then level 1.5580 will become its target
cancelation this scenarion if will be able to go down lower then level 1.4910

3) if the pair will be able to go down lower then level 1.4910, then level 1.4650 will become its target
cancelation this scenario, if after passing level 1.4910 the pair will be able to go up higher then level 1.4985

I agree with your daily chart here, mine looks very similar and i will be looking for more long opportunites this week.

i got a feeling it might retest the high, or at least 1.5400 before or if it goes down,...usually it makes somekind od double top before reversing,...or what,..i dont know, tomorow some goods news will be from europe i guess,..lets see

20:56 Trichet To Hold News Conference Today To Address Credit Crisis Sydney, March 10: The International Herald Tribune is reporting that ECB President Trichet is expected to hold a press conference later today in Basle Switzerland after meeting with G 10 central bankers. The report says that it is the same group that masterminded the joint cash injection plan last year.
Last week money markets tightened to levels not seen since December when year-end funding problems pushed up lending costs and forced central banks to take extraordinary action to resolve the credit log-jam. Analysts are saying that we are now in round three of the credit crisis, which forced the Fed to unveil new measures to ease liquidity strains on Friday. The vice chairman of the Swiss National Bank, Philipp Hildebrand warned last week that the world might be in a new, more dangerous phase of the crisis.
The IHT quoted Jesper Fischer-Nielsen, interest rate strategist at Danske Bank in Copenhagen as saying: "It"s another round of the credit crisis, some markets are getting worse than January this time. There is fear that something dramatic will happen and that fear is feeding itself." ---

Agreed. But about the reversal, I'd wait after the second top to see what happens before stepping in..

Nice. Me too, almost from the dip.

542 seems reasonable, beyond that the unknown I believe.. for me at least.

Now I see a zig zag on the charts. Last fri. price spiked up on news and cleared out pending sell orders just ahead. Thats what pushed price down. The price bounced, probly sell orders taking profit scared to hold through the weekend because of strong up trend. Now price has returned right back to where it was before news. So really, the zig zag is meaning less, other than a correction. Indicating the trend will continue as if fri. didn't happen.

David, by cleared out pending orders you mean closed them at a loss ? I understood that the more SLs hit the more the price is propelled in that direction. And about sell orders taking profit - you mean sell orders entered at the top ? Wouldn't it be just a few scalpers taking shorts there ? How can this move the price down so much ? Could it be that mayve there were some big longs actuualy that took profit at about the top and pushed prices down ?

Big players scalp and place pending order too. Your not the only one. The banks are the biggest scalpers in the world. Smart man wouldn't have left a short over the weekend and this gap and move today shows why it wouldn't have been a good idea.
But there are players holding longs from months ago that will keep holding them untill it shows a defined top and tells them to get out.

What ever you want to call it but the trend is up. period. And a 200 pip drop wouldn't signal a reversal in trend as it would be just a correction to the over all trend. I think this thing has a long way to go yet.
