i know, that;s why i'm looking for new brokers, i have been with IBFX for some times, and they have become goood to bad, bad to worse,
now their spread also ........ + USD20 for using credit card ,

with this, that;s why i'm thinking of of OANDA, or may be others ?
i'm looking for tigh spread , 200:1 (although OANDA dun have....), cheap deposit fee (if possible FREE ! )
any suggestion ?

Thanks..

If you looking for a new broker, you can try Ikon Royal. You can fund by credit card FOC - no extra charge. But for withdrawal, you need to use wire transfer. I have been using them for a few months now. Their spread is low during normal times but I don't recommend them if you want to trade the news. However, they do allow scalping. Hope this helps.

Oanda is a reputable broker..i did w/draw and depo for couple of times with no problem at all..My 1st deposit using maybank2u.com and the money available in my trading account within 1 business day.,my 2nd deposit wont take 1 day..its very fast .I transfer before 2pm malaysia time and my money ready in the account at 11 pm on the same day...My withdrawal also take 2 day time to be ready in my bank account. But the charge for w/drawl is usd 40 for 1 in a month and would be an extra charge of usd 15 if u w/draw for 2nd time in the same month..

For new trader like you .it is save to use oanda coz ur money will be protected and with 1;50 laverage u wont loss too much money compare to laverage 1:400 or bigger..

thats all my comment

Just funded my Oanda Fxtrade account yesterday using PayPal. Took less
than 2 hours before the funds are deposited into my new trading account.

Much better turnaround time than by using bank TT, which will take a couple
of days. Only snag is the 2.9% charge plus USD0.30 per deposit. Withdrawal
back to PayPal is free though.

Now trading live.... http://static-wk.lowyat.net/style_em...ult/rclxm9.gif

Hi all, good to know there's other a Malaysian thread here for brokers.

I'm new and going to start with oanda for my 1st mini account. Raynman, are you sure that paypal withdrawal is free because from what I read, they charge both ways - for sending and receiving funds. Can you please confirm this?

Its so hard to TT the money to Oanda. I don't know how you guys do that. Any of banks in Malaysia required document from Oanda.. and i just fed up! The easiest way and the faster ever for funding using Maybank.. but the fee is quite high of course! BUT only a few hours.. we can trade live!

YOU are obviously a demo trader..... I have very little difficulty with the live platform.

As to their forums there is less than a handfull of people that are worth paying any attention to and most of them are gone too, or post so irregularly they may as well be gone, most of the posters are whiny wanna be's with their 100,00 $ DEMO accounts that they keep blowing.
