Hi ,

i have been using IBFX for quite some time, and i'm quite annoy at the disconnect/on , unpaid swap, increase fee in depositing $$$

so i'm thinking of going to OANDA, the old + reputable broker,
the reasons, the SPREAD is very attractive,

but the problems is with the DEPOSIT/WITHDRWAL ,
seems like they don;t really support credit card option for Malaysian customer ,

anyone from Malaysia, has any experience with them ?

Thanks,

I do.

I just wire transfer the money to and from Oanda. You can do that at Maybank. That's the easiest way.

PayPal may be good on very small amounts,.. but as your account grows, the paypal fees far exceed any wire cost.

Hi,

I from Malaysia too.
If u are ready to go into forex trading...go singapore and open a saving acc.
Cheaper t/t rate and faster to arrive.
Malaysia took 5 days to t/t.

But if your amount is small, use paypal....
Btw, i think ibfx now credit card only charge US20 fee.

thanks
Patience, let the market come to you!

Dear Paogeh,

From my experience with Oanda... is good.
You can use any bank but make sure you send the money from the bank that you want them to sent back the money to you because if you request withdrawal, they will send the money to the bank that where do you sent the money from. That is the regulation. You have to use TT transfer ya...
When you fill up the form... to who.. you write "Oanda Cooperation".
The bank will not ask you much. But if the adresse with name of "Forex"
the bank officer will ask you a lot of question. Becareful of that.
So far...no problem. You know la... Malaysia... a lot of regulation..

Hi, can't offer much advice since I'm not the OANDA type. Furthermore, just started trading early this year so not in position to give advice. But anyway, just want to share my words this evening with fellow Malaysians.
