The main problem I experienced with Oanda is that their platform is unstable. It crashes, logged off and on every 5 mins or so. I wont recommend them for an intraday trader. But every other thing else is ok.

DislikedI already have a paypal account, but what debit card can I use to
link to it for funds withdrawal from paypal?
I have recently opened an fxtrade account with Oanda but I have yet
to fund it. Was considering using Maybank TT but I am exploring other
options that can save some transaction costs over the longer term.
Your advice for a newbie is most appreciated. Thanks!Ignored
DislikedAmenlo9,
Thanks very much for the info.
I will get a Visa Electron debit card linked to my paypal account ASAP.Ignored
DislikedMy paypal account has already been verified much earlier using my
UOB VISA credit card.
I think I just need to add in the debit card later when I get my hands
on it. Correct me if I am wrong here.
Incidentally, is Public Bank the only version of VISA Electron debit card
that can be used with paypal? What about other VISA Electron
debit cards, from UOB, for example? Reason I asked is because I have
a UOB current account but none with Public Bank.Ignored
DislikedWhy don't you open an account with a broker that accept credit card deposits but allow withdrawal via bank wire transfer? Will that help? Just my 2 cents.

DislikedHi ,
i have been using IBFX for quite some time, and i'm quite annoy at the disconnect/on , unpaid swap, increase fee in depositing $$$
so i'm thinking of going to OANDA, the old + reputable broker,
the reasons, the SPREAD is very attractive,
but the problems is with the DEPOSIT/WITHDRWAL ,
seems like they don;t really support credit card option for Malaysian customer ,
anyone from Malaysia, has any experience with them ?
Thanks,Ignored
DislikedJust funded my Oanda Fxtrade account yesterday using PayPal. Took less
than 2 hours before the funds are deposited into my new trading account.
Much better turnaround time than by using bank TT, which will take a couple
of days. Only snag is the 2.9% charge plus USD0.30 per deposit. Withdrawal
back to PayPal is free though.
