Good day for easy pips 100 pips does wonders to my account.

As I see it, we are in slightly uncharted territory and I am no fortune teller so it could go until it's done for all I care. I will see when it's done and trade accordingly.

Price is my main indicator my friend. The MA is there so I can understand the past. Price is there to tell me what is happening now. I trade many different ways and many different timeframes. Everything is situational.

Some people in here who make predictions, I understand, but you'll never see me making predictions. It's fun, I get it, but truthfully, if you can predict forex, I think you might be a fortune teller and have mystic powers. There are only probabilities as I see it. It could be probable that price will stall at resistance or hit a certain price, but nothing will ever be certain. Get used to this and trade what you see (the price).

Excelent post Kevin. I must agree wholeheartedly with you about watching price. I am learning to read price action as my main indicator and it has worked wonders for my trading. I've finally weened off all tecnicals except for SMA. Price action never lagging behind like technicals. Its the best!

Its very difficult to watch price whilst at work but i do think im getting there. using fib does help with projection as it does seem to be a very well used tool, however my trailing stop keeps me out of trouble if the fib level i THINK is going to get hit doesnt...

What can price tell u more then just the... current price? You still have to make predictions to choose which way to go, long or short... I dont understand this...

that sounds like a good idea. i am, too, thinking that somewhere around 1.5150 is a temporary ceiling. whether this willbe followed by a protracted dollar-rebound looks iffy at best. i'm with you on the buy-the-dips approach.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Seer Forexo the Magnificent.
I am taking little shorts from 1.5130s and closing them out, as hourly divergence seek correction towards 1.5033/1.5000 anyway.

Those shorts are counter, and I would like to buy the dip as I really think eurusd will test 1.5200 area given this strength.

There should be buyers who missed the spike thru 1.50, a dip is technically and logically needed. Gl
Lots of angst in Washington, DC about dollar.

Remember just 2 weeks ago everyone thought the Euro was going down?? calling "Triple Top" and citing Eurozone growth and possible rate cuts?

Well I was long and granted I sold too soon, but that okay, life goes on. However, even though the news reports have changed and policy makers are spinning a different direction, the fact remains Eurozone is not so hot.

Call me crazy, but the dollar can not shrivel away much further. Anywhere near 1.54 and I am shorting for the long haul. Europe will not be able to export much at that exchange rate. This spike is just an opportunity for advantageous pricing of futures and option contracts which the banks are loading up on short the euro. They brought it up they can push it down...the spot market is fodder for the big boys to make the real dough in the shadows.

I agree about the part that 1.52 area should be a minor top but an end to the rally? that is something beyond my knowledge.

Also to note, cable is topping soon somewhere in 2.0 level for the long term bearish potential, get prepared. I am waiting that moment

Im not an expert Im still being taught P/A as an indictor so take my words with a grain of salt. Using P/A is not for making predictions but for helping to find ranges and tops and bottoms and when to know to get in and get out.

Each pair has P/A patterns that can get repeated over and over again. Im learning this for euro/usd and its been very profitible.

good call on the pound with preparing shorts however i think cable is bearish already, i would start shorting today regardless of news. the price action is showing me shorts for longterm gain.

im shorting USD/JPY on dailies also

The medium term and longer term bearish potential on cable is great, I am just a tad caution because of usd weakness. We in a wave 4 in cable I think, and one final push is due. Anyway, positionally it's great to get in cable short if you can maintain some drawdawn for the bearish potential payout.
