I have a great idea for an ea that i backtested manually and it works great. Im not that good of a coder so i was wondering if someone could help me develop this ea?

There are many that believe backtesting means absolutely nothing. It is an unfortunate fact that your broker will not let you trade the past. Forward testing should be done ...- IMHO don't waste a whole lot of time in the past...

Ive been forward testing it for about 3 months now and i have had average of 33% return every week. NO BS so i want 2 make this a EA and maximize the time to make money.

Have you forward tested it on a live account? A small account should work fine. Often there are methods the broker does not care about on a demo account and the fills are perfect, but in a live account it is a better test for the fills and such. Also, it is a good way to find out if that type of trading will fit with you and your broker, or do you need to find a different broker for the method. If you can pass that test, you may be on to something worthwhile.

I can give it a try. I am not expert in EA, but have been writing Indicators a lot and can change any EA.

If it is a Martingale type (any method of adding to losing trades), count me out.

So, I need to know the method. First I have to see how difficult it would be. Then I have to check manually how it would have worked out. If it is good, I will work on it for sure.

Since you cannot send PM, you have to provide some info here. What timeframe chart are you using?

Hi forexguy,

For someone to code your set-up, you have to be very exact in describing every aspect of the set-up. Just make sure you've thought the whole process of your method in a clear, clean way, otherwise you will end up frustrating yourself and the coder, not to mention waste time along the way...

EA= Expert Advisor. Basically a program created to trade automatically according to the rules you supply it with. You can use this on a Metatrader compatible platform

Hi forexguy,

1. First I would like to know what timeframe chart you use for this method.
2. How many positions will be open at a time? If it is more than one, I am not the right person.
3. Also, I want to know if it adds to losing positions.

These are ok to answer here. After knowing answers for these, I will conatct you.
