I am a complete computer nerd and have never managed to successfully download a template from this forum into my MT4 platform

I am halfway to success with my latest attempt. The template in question can be found on my MT4 toolbar in that little yellow diamond that says meta editor when I click on it. But how the hell do I move it farther along the toolbar in to that little box it needs to be in if I am to impose it on my charts ?

Please help somebody !

You are downloading the template to the wrong place, try this, it works for me.

1. click on download
2. click save
3. click the letter for your hard drive
4. click "Program Files"
5. look for your trading platform
6. click on your mt4 file
7. find the file for your tmp (templates)
8. click on that file
9. click ok and it should download right to your templates file
10. close your platform and re-open and you should see it there.

if it a indicator you have to move it to indicators folder under experts directory.

at the top of this forum is a sticky thread with tutorials, it shows you exactly how to do what you want and a whole lot more. You can also rewind any section and watch it again and again until you get it!
