You can take the Vegas hrly tunnel and put it on your 1/2 hr chart the same way. Best of both worlds, baby. Try it and see for yourself. The reason your entries are better on the 1/2 hr chart is because you took the 5 & 12 EMA's from the hrly and turned them into hrly 2.5 & 6 EMA's on your hf hr chart by keeping the values the same. The larger the EMA value, the greater the price lag.... Try using the 2.5 (or round it to 3) and the 6 on your hourly chart and you then have the exact entry point as you presently have on the half-hour chart. Pretty neat, huh?

EMA's are based on the # of periods (in this case candles).

1 hrly candle = 2 half-hr candles. So a multiplcation factor of 2 is used for the conversion from hrly to half-hr.

Hell, you can work this system on 5-min charts if you want.

Can't believe some of you veterans have never used this trick.

i'm a bit out of position, do we use "2.5 & 6 EMA" on 30min or still 5 & 12 on 30 min, if 5 & 12, do we still use thesame on 1HR?

Hi Sidus,

I just read your method but there is some question :
1. Which method you use now ? seem got 2 method which is sidus method 1 and method 2 ?
2. In method 2 I see you mention RVI, do you have the indicator for MT4 ?

there's one short signal after a buy signal when crossed up,
in your method buy signal close position on the next cross sell signal, buy signal was in the same price with sell signal on the next. When a buy signal close ..second position occur then it's reverse to buy signal again. send me an email : { personal information deleted by staff, per request }.
