Anyone still trading Mouteki?

Please look at my post #36 again... I beg to differ - it was very clear that there was a TD trade, and one that satisfies both qualifiers 1 and 3. So, I would say that the trade was looking good when the signal first appeared.

I have some time, so I'll look over the trade and post my opinions.

1. First off, that's a day chart... If you're going to put position trades on( trading off entries of the day chart) in a thin market like the last two weeks of December, you're incorporating more risk than usual.

2. Entering off a big, volatile candle is a recipe for a losing trade.... The candle from the 19th almost engulfed the four previous days candles.

3. As mentioned, you would have traded into a cluster of resistance... That's a real good way to lose money.

4. The entry occurred in the Asian session just prior to the open of the Euro session. Trading the Gbp/Usd in the Asian session is very risky. All types of false signals...Trading the three major USD- Euro pairs before the open of the London market is a big no-no for me.


All in all, there were way too many reasons not to trade that setup... The trade looked ugly.

Still trade with lovely mouteki till now..from 2004...

I used to follow Mouteki, but found it wasnt consistent for me. Can you share some of your results and how you are trading it? Thank you!
