I had a similar trend like this on the GBPCAD and it took a good month to come back but its now up 650 pips taking it on a long term sell! ....

Just hang on people the USD is not getting stronger... the big boys are just reloading their Guns.
They sure take their time reloading ...

Hi, i entered a long position on eur-usd, here is the image that explain why i entered (i made a conservative entry), risking 40pips (i can afford, no problem), to take at least 60 pips (as you can see i use an ascending line as a target, so for now it's 60pips, but maybe i will modify tomorrow if not yet hitted, and adjust it to more then 60pips), what u think?

P.s.
I was looking an MT4 chart, thinking about my trade, when i noticed that in the MT4 chart the price have not broken the trendline, i mean, the spike of today, in oanda touched the 1.4395 level, in mt4 (fastbrokersfx demo) only touched 1.4368, looking the mt4 chart, i should not taken the long, but.. which one of the two is right?? What about your broker? What was the high of the spike of today?

Well, in the doubt, i decided to close the long (2pips scalp), and wait for another breakout of the trendline

I have a long at 1.4310 and now I am waiting to open another again.

I truly hate this pair now. It always seems to take stairs up, then elevator down nowadays. Too sick of this BS.

I abandoned the idea of eur-usd for now, just longed aud-jpy 30 minutes ago,will see tomorrow morning if hit the target or the sl, now it's time to sleep

Im long AJ and AU since last night. They held up great compared to EU, or BU for that matter. Very encouraged by this action here late in the day...if this moves up along with UJ move there is no telling where it might go. After riding it out this long, I am hoping to put some pips (50ish) between me and my cost and set SL to break even.. I'll start looking at adding to the position on dips after 100 pip breathing room. On the other hand if it doesn't look good for one reason or another, i'll scalp it for whetever adds $ to the account. As it stands I am in the red 14 pips....so much work yet to be done

Hi to all this is my first post and i would like to tell mystory in forex.

i have handled before 2 years over $30k (back when eur/usd @1.20) to a trader and i took the account back before 3 months, this was a managed account that i learned the hard way that nobody even if they make profit care about your money, and i started learning trading the hard way ...live account 4k equity -25k unrealized pnl from 2 trades short 1.2916 eur/usd long 1.33 usd/cad.. anyway after several trades on my own i am at about the same equity.
and all that after many profitable trades but only 3 loses wiped all my profits cause iam very new and its very tough for me to cut my losses but i will learn.
Due to the contract that is still in effect each trade i do has a 75$ comission that still headed to the trader ... if i break the contact i must close all the open trades and accept the big loss from shorting eur/usd @1.29 that the trader inherited to me so my trading enviroment is against me also no small lots for me only standard lots the broker also is crap... hope soon i can accept the loss and move to another broker with a fresh start and the faith entierly in my hands.
hope i can learn from you guys..

Sorry for this rather personal post but i wanted to tell somebody..

That's an odd story.

Try trading on a demo account for free for a while.

Thanks for the advise but demo will do not good to me right now, i have used demo accounts but always taking risk higher that i am willing to take on my real account cant simulate the emotions and all demo accounts are very profitable for me.

odd, but thats when you trust people, if i revoke the contract with the trader all positions he opened must be closed and iam not ready yet to close the trades that i inherited from him. i dont want the unrealined pnl -25k to become realized ....

Hi, my target was 97.73, i left a lot of pips in the table, but 55pips are always a good thing Happy to see also that your trade (long aj) has goed well too (aj is goed up! ), happy christmas, and sorry to all for being off-topic in the thread
