DislikedThanks Slade, I also saw this a tad bit latter got in about 10 pips above you. If it breaks the recent resistance level of 0.8645 it should be off and running.

DislikedHi All,
Just tried VT Trader now and noticed that they have an auto trading system for MA crossing. Am trying it out now to see how it works. This may also give an idea of how the EA should run.
Still watching out for the EUR/USD....almost...Almost...

DislikedThank Goodness the GBPJPY rebounded!! I am within a few pips of break even with the help of the NZDUSD and now EURUSD, which gave a signal that I got in on a few pips late, but in nonetheless.
Believe it or not, I came within a measly 2% of a margin call!! Didn't follow my rules. Learned a lesson. And I love this system.
Watch for the GBPJPY to give a signal.Ignored
DislikedOmega. That's a bummer. Somer ISPs will do that to prevent hackers from adding unwanted traffic through their server. Sounds to me like they need to stop worrying about it and get some better programmers. Either way, I heard that Google's Gmail will allow you to use their free SMTP server if you sign up for a free Gmail account. You would put in smtp.gmail.com and then fill in [email protected] for the to and from.
Or Yahoo: smtp.mail.yahoo.com and get [email protected] for free
Note: I don't know if Yahoo or Gmail work with MT4, haven't tried their SMTP.
There are also small programs that you can download to your computer that allow you to turn your own home into an SMTP server, bypassing the need for your ISPs server. To free examples are found Here.
Any other suggestions from the forum? I guess you could just try using a random SMTP server with your email address to see if they allow it to go through soft. Couldn't hurt!Ignored
DislikedI have a gmail account and did what you advised but I get a successful que of the test message but an error delivery message that I need to issue a STARTTLS command first with a number and letter prefix after the message. Any ideas?

DislikedDo you have an email client? MT4 uses your email client to actually send the email. I use Outlook and Outlook Express and have no problems. I think you can use Eudora and possibly Thunderbird as well. I use Yahoos SMTP servers but I believe I had success with Gmail as well.
Also, one thing that tripped me up for the longest time, Under the "From" and "To" on the email tab of options, dont forget to put a name first and followed by a comma, then the email address. ex "Jai, [email protected]".Ignored
